The Noto Railway was damaged by the Noto earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, and is currently out of service. The train service to Noto-Nakajima (能登中島) is scheduled to be restored in February, but the section to Anamizu (穴水), including Noto-Kashima (能登鹿島), was severely damaged, and there is no timetable for restoration. The bus replacement service will start soon, but it is unclear the condition of the cherry blossoms at Noto-Kashima and whether it is possible to enter the station or not.
