My wing got unloaded and I almost hit power lines during this eventful epic flight around the Isle of Wight. Some lessons to be learned in this one.

Wow, thats some awesome scenery. I clinked the bottom of my frame off the top a power line on my first ever flight. Scared the sh*t outta me, but at least I picked my feet up. Wow plenty to take away from that one Mark. Even in bigger aircraft we don't fly the leeside of a cliff or mountain below the ridge line, I can imagine that was quite a ride down you were getting there. Those power lines, man you were so lucky, very dodgy. Excellent content as always mate.

I used SkyDemon to plan this route. I will sometimes zoom the route on Google Maps and then search for Points of Interest on that to see if I missed anything and then add them in as waypoints. Doesn't take long to do but makes the flight much better and more interesting.

I loved my paramotoring days, the best fun. I have also flown fixed wing for 35 years and now have a Foxbat that I regularly fly over and around The Needles but fondly remember the hot summer evenings with numerous failed launches that helped build up a thirst for the apres flying at the local pub. Here was one of my early crashes with my paramotor from the Strawberry fields near Lymington. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2PFoK2DqZJqnJY Lots of other content, all my own, on my site. Looking back at your video titles, is seems to be half about crashes, engines failing and all manner of other dangerous occurrences, and a bit about amazing views. Perhaps you should consider if you are overly "click-baity" with your titles, or if you are playing with death and destruction in your flying ;-) I lean towards click bait. Still a nice video, though, and lovely scenery 👍
