I disagree, I'm italian and I always say it's not the right language for music 🤣 it's ok for ballads, where words matter more than sound, but for most musical genres it's not, it's too articulated, too rigid, while in english you can turn most words in very different sounds. it's like english is an instrument itself.

It could be a great language for Opera and what is usually calles "bel canto" but for a lot of genres is quite bad. Italian doesn't have truncates words, so every Italian word always has "one more syllable".
