I’ve learned to just add a bit of hot melt glue(Lowe’s heat gun glue) inside any weight ports hole. G400 for example. Just enough for about 1/2 swing weight... and mute the sound of any driver enough to make a big difference. I’ve put yarn or cotton in as well. Works nicely.

I bought the ST200 based a lot on this review, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm hitting more fairways (averaging around 70% at the moment), and my bad shots don't travel off line as far. I've also added another 10 yds or so to my average distance, 250 to 262, which is an added bonus. I wasn't looking for more distance, but more forgiveness, so a bit of both is great.

@@galgay1 What an interesting question. I don't have a problem with yellow or "burnt orange", it's just that I don't want or expect to see it on a Driver. Personally, I want to see black or grey on a driver, I can cope with a slight dash of a primary colour such as blue or red, but my eye gets offended when I see a large blob of a colour that I cannot name in one word. The Nike drivers had a similarly negative effect.

Why did you put the same shaft into the X? The X is supposed to be the lightweight option including the 47g shaft.

I find a lot of modern drivers at address sit slightly open at least to my eye so I prefer to have a small draw bias in my drivers. The problem is that drivers which are marketed as draw bias look to sit too closed at address to my eye. So I really like standard drivers with plenty of adjustment and movable weights so that I can set it up exactly for me. Mizuno drivers look classic - I like that

Listen there’s no golf in the winter where I live in the USA 🇺🇸 and in the spring and the fall it soaking wet. Right now the ground is covered in snow ⛄️ So that beautiful white leather head cover would not survive the golf course in Maine.

I’m really eager to try the new driver line of Mizuno. The last few versions haven’t made it into my bag. This one seems to have a real shot. Will see if it can stack up against the new offerings from Callaway, TaylorMade and Cobra.

So just to be clear, if you loft up to 11 you close the club face when the club is soled. Do you then need to rotate the club in your grip to male it square at address which is what adds the loft, and conversely when you deloft the club?

10:23 The 9* "G" head is adjustable +/- 2* so can go down to 7* (not 9*) and up to 11*. Thank you for the review. I am using the Wilson Cortex which sounds a lot like these Mizuno's. I don't like the sound that much, but performance is fine. I wonder if the higher pitch sound this year is due to the use of 2041 titanium instead of 64.

They look amazing, and great performance. But the sound is so tinny. And it isn’t always easy to tell on videos, but in this case it was really obvious. Not a sound I’d like in my driver

This is another example of a company rushing a release. What have they really given us over the 190? Deeper weight tracks and exclusion to left handers? Why? To have a market noise in time for the PGA show? Poor decision. Hurts the progress they've made.

BBSLIME CITY I have the G410+ driver, fairways & hybrids. When i go for my fitting, i want to compare G410+ to the MAVRIK, TM SIM MAX and maybe ST200. As far as the fairways go, I’m reading the Epic Flash was the best fairway metal so i want to compare it against the G410+.

The sound has really disappointed me. St190 has a great sound. The only thing I was hoping they would change was the profile at address. The St 180 sound was so bad you couldn’t hit it indoors or in covered areas. 🙁

I think one of the main points of this new driver is it was designed to be matched with 40 gram shafts for more speed.

LH is available in 9.5 for ST200. US is getting exotic upgrade shafts for an extra cost. I'm a lefty with the ST190 w/Atmos Black, but will be upgrading to the ST200 w/Ventus Black. It's that much better for me than anything else that is out there.
