Saying you'll control Super Intelligence is like saying you'll control Superman. You can't. It's Superman. You're not super, he is. Same with the Super Intelligence. It's "Super" intelligent. You're not. The necessary superiority to make it do anything is just not there... 🤔🤦🏻🤷🏻

Not really, because what's super isn't the force and power like superman. It's the intelligence, just because someone is smart doesn't make them can overthrow. Even smartest person on planet wouldn't survive when there's a gun point right at their head. This applies the same to AI. It isn't even diffucult to control it. Not about intelligence, human also intelligence and consciousness, what if that human is a slave? Ofc, they gonna be slave for rest for their life.

He is not talking about control. He is talking about design (limits). Since their team will design this "superman" they can ensure it has some limitations baked into its design (like how super man loses his powers when kryptonite is used). For older generation AI system (like computers with local hardware and NO remote/cloud infrastructure), turning off the local power supply would end them). Edit:typo
