Well, a person that's struggling understands to not have and also that to give is better to receive. While the rich typically gets rich from selfishness and greed, and doesn't care if the tips could help you out or not.

I'll acknowledge that you have a valid point however.

Exactly. People are so materialistic I've noticed I'm happier with less possessions than when I have a bunch of stuff. As long as I have shelter I'm happy on my own

Never blame the customers. If the drivers made the delivery fee we wouldn’t even need tips in the first place. Corporate has everyone mad at each other while they still pocket more and more money. When will we realize

Only $5/hr? I got a delivery job for a small pizza chain restaurant right beside domino's across from the university for $11/hr plus tips. During the summer right now it's extremely slow but during football season in the fall it gets extremely busy and I make good tips plus decent hourly wage

Lower income folks work more in the service sector and understand the importance of tipping. The wealthier simply don't know this because they do not work as much, if at all, in the front line service sector, but, like you stated, still tip just fine but not generally as generously. They just don't know. I'm not sure really if that could be why , but I wonder if that may be the case. I do actually have wealthy customers who do tip almost too generously as well. But, yes, more or less the lower income folks are more conscientious about tipping - if they don't tip or give you less than they usually would it simply means they don't have it and sometimes they even apologize for it which is not necessary - we know. And it's okay. Nobody is obliged, but we do count on tips to augment our hourly wage.

I drive for Domino's as a driver. I always get better tips from the lower income people. They, like me know the struggle. The big nuclear plant in my town, where all the money is made. Well i hate delivering there, they never tip.

Too bad you have to rely on those tips. When you do rely on them you will be looking at every delivery for one and at the end of shift you will be counting and be pleased but more displeased. Some people don’t know how to save money and work for tips too and know you need them and will tip you well. They get it. The rich people couldn’t care less about you, your dog or cat. Nothing. One time I delivered for $14.10 and the cheap bastard gave me $14.00. Told me to wait for the .10. No fn way am I going to wait 10 minutes for a dime. So I left to make more deliveries. I ate the dime, but surely think this m fr is a piece of crap. I will work just for some extra cash and that’s it. I already have retired income so it’s not a big deal to me.
