Stunning Results: Cheetah prints on the gel plate with paint & layering stencils

Absolutely STUNNING! Metallics are my FAVE! (: You are right... I NEVER throw anything away. When I gel print, I have a card table sitting alongside of Me, covered in large sheets of tissue paper. Every time I pull a stencil off the plate, it goes IMMEDIATELY onto the tissue paper. Doesn't matter what color I used on the gel plate or what stencil. or what direction I place the stencil onto the tissue paper. Some of these tissue papers have 4-5 designs on them in rainbows of colors. Sometimes I only do black and white on one sheet, or monochromatic prints of another color. Hang them and let them dry. GORGEOUS collage ephemera. People in my art group buy them, because none of them gel print. I also do some ascemic writing in black on scraps of metallic painted papers or symbols in black rolled right onto the paper with a brayer... especially the tissue paper ones. I am in the process of photographing them, digitizing them, and in the very near future I will have them made into napkins, tablecloths, bandanas, puzzles, stickers... you name it... to sell. And yes... I use ALL my roll-off sheets - backgrounds for cards, collage ephemera, et cetera. If they are interesting enough, I will use a stencil on top with a line-drawing face in white or black... very dramatic. I hope this was helpful/inspiring to others. I don't waste a DROP of paint!
