I have the Kyosho Jeep. It works well. Kyosho does sell after market parts for this truck. You can get better shocks, a metal front axle and LEDs that will plug right into the RX/ESC unit. Thoughts?

Kyosho still using 3AAA batteries is antique…make them very expensive to run. Their rc are overrated expensive and parts are hard to get in majority of places. Expensive toy grades 😁

There are plenty of decent rechargeable options for AAA batteries & probably cheaper to run than half the lipo options out there.

@@richkawaiipikachu aaa have very limited capacity and you need to always make sure that batteries are used/charged as their own set. Maybe they really are that special, reason they are the only flat form still using it. Just talking about the batteries. With pricing, parts availability, prices of upgrades if there’s any available are ridiculous. But they are nice small scale model toy rc. Big rc reviewers/vloggers/hobbyist should feature them more, but don’t…..

I'm looking at these specifically because of the AAA batteries. I want to safely keep it in my travel bag. It won't be my main RC but it'll be the one to use when I can't use my others. Diversity.

I do not see any issue with the batteries. I use enloop in mine and you can recharge them forever. The issue with upgrading is a real thing but they are so scale looking, I love them. Very high quality imo

What are you on about? Nobody uses throw away batteries in this day and age. NiMH rechargeables have been available since the late 90s. I haven't used a single throw away battery since like 2003. Eneloops are everywhere. I simply don't get this argument.

Kyosho mini z are junk. My friend bought a couple of them and they absolutely suck even with all the aftermarket stuff on them they're still crap.
