The most important artists of the time met in the Romanisches Café on Kurfürstendamm (Bertolt Brecht, Otto Dix, Max Liebermann, Erich Kästner, Joachim Ringelnatz, Billy Wilder and many others) and Josephine Baker introduced the new Charleston dance sensation to Germany with her performance in 1926 in the Nelson Theatre on Kurfürstendamm.
1928 saw the premiere of Brecht’s “Threepenny Opera” in the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm, from where it went on to sweep the world.
Alongside the boom in Berlin’s nightlife with entertainment shows and music hall, the city also made great strides by day.

Strange! Communists were shown but where are the pictures of the marching Nazis? Because the Nazi SA founded in the 20s was already marching in Berlin in the 20s! The SS was founded in Berlin in the 20s and was already marching in Berlin in this decade! By the way, most of the people shown in the video were either already Nazis or later became Nazis, because by 1935 at the latest the overwhelming majority of Germans had been followers and supporters of the German Nazi government, thus they were Nazis. Most communists also became Nazis, because the change from one extreme to the other is even easier because the radicalization was already there. Because Nazism was also a kind of socialism and the Nazi propagandist Goebbels said that Nazism is the "true socialism" free of Marxism. Therefore, the change from radical communism to radical nazism was not very difficult. The Berlin of the 20s is always described as so liberal and decadent. Obviously a myth, because as soon as the Nazis were in power, it was a Nazi city.

The Nazis probably showed an image of modernity and decadence to shied their slowly growing nazi influence

@@thetimemachine7331 "The Nazis probably showed..." Do you mean with that the Germans? But calling them Nazis is actually quite right. But your assumption is wrong. Because what you claim suggests a will to resist. But there was very little of that among the Germans. Because the vast majority of them had been supporters and followers of the German Nazi government since 1935 at the latest, thus they were Nazis! Therefore there was hardly any resistance against the German Nazi government.
