I use silica sand in a container and that way it supports the mold and holds it in its shape,,,,it's beautiful hun you could always take the eco pour off of it and put the resin piece back in the mold and pour a different color of resin in with it not sure if that will work or not
@Toonpish2 ай бұрын
If you take something out of a mould and return it to the mould, the seal is broken and resin will travel down the side. So it wouldn’t be too good. Plus it’s the top part so would have to go onto new resin. Again that’s not easy. But I like your suggestion 😀😀💜👍

It's a shame the first one cracked. But the idea of making the beach scene was a wonderful idea. I loved it. It's just sometimes making things with Magic Pour doesn't work out since it doesn't have any flexibility to it. I tried to use it with the feather tray mold. I couldn't get it to work with that mold either. It just dried to firmly for that mold. I ended up needing to break the tray to get it out. I'll have to remember the idea using the tile to make wave inlays. That's a great shortcut. 💗

Yor water ripples are great. I bought the Let's Resin Magic Pour (their version of the eco pour), but I have never used it. However, Louise Singleton Creation video's are great for seeing possibilities. She did eco pour with that apple mold and she broke off the stem the first time too 😂. But then she did more and showed how to compensate (put a wire in the stem). I don't remember how she kept the apple base from breaking (she did create an interior form to support the center of the mold while it was curing). I wonder what the tray would look like if you did the "sand" eco pour around the edge with the wave on the bottom?
