I have this mold and I use ResinCrete and the stem never comes out.

Hi Wendy. I don't know if anyone has recommended this yet. Daniel Cooper has a method of making resin paper. (It's video 297, I think) You can use this for your dam sealing it with a tiny amount of UV resin. You won't have to remove it as it will turn clear as you pour your resin. Just leave it in and trim it with a craft knife when you are done. Good Luck, and let me know how it turns out for you!
