I have to say no. Even though Capone was good, NORE always stood out on the tracks on that album. His flow and delivery was very unique. Not much of a lyricist though. Never been his forte. I felt like it would have been the same way it is now. Capone didn't take it seriously. But I do agree with Capone getting mad at NORE at the time. Signing with Jay Z was a bad move. Not at that time. That wasn't a good time to do that. In all, I would have loved CNN to have reached the same level as Mobb Deep but it was Capone who messed it up

First of, The War Report is one of the greatest debut albums ever in hip hop. I dont know if East Coast hip hop would have strive at that point if this album never existed. Second, this episode was great. You really mastered your content. To a point, it's near flawless now. Lastly, I felt that would have never been bigger than Mobb Deep. Look at what they did in 1999. Murda Musik was huge at the time, with It's Mine and Quiet Storm killing it.
