Gilda is a fan-favorite character and she's one of Rainbow Dash's best friends, but she went out of focus after she played her second and final major speaking role in "The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone". The creative staff never gave Gilda anymore major speaking roles to play after she redeemed herself and rekindled her friendship with Rainbow Dash in "The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone". IMPORTANT: For those of you who didn't read the description, yes, I'm aware of the recent, and very similar upload by alecomac ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4q1cqaim7yabas ) I didn't see that video until mine was already finished and rendering, and even if I HAD seen it the moment it was uploaded, my video still would have been over two weeks into production by that point. The similarity between the two videos is nothing more than a crazy coincidence. I've already messaged alecomac to make sure uploading my version would be alright, and everything is cool. If you're not so fussed about all these side-characters and just want to see a video highlighting the first and last lines of the main cast, please, give alecomac's video a watch. Man, with all the characters reappearing in the background and stuff, I never noticed how many only had lines in the first couple seasons. Wish they had more opportunities to talk, I always loved how alive the MLP universe felt with all of the different characters and communities. After EQG: Rainbow Rocks with her having a noteworthy role but still not speaking, I got attached to the idea of her being mute and was always a little nervous they were gonna change that each time she showed up, but they didn't! And at one point they said on... I think Facebook, but maybe Twitter or both? when asked about DJ getting a voice that she communicates with her music, further showing it was intentional, and I just?
