Stupid Chevy Oil Change Light!
This is easy to reset.
The stupid oil change light came on and was still on even after we changed the oil.
Just turn the key to the on position and depress the gas pedal to the floor 3 times in 5 seconds. The oil change light should flash and then go off. Easy.

@@CheapGeek Thanks for the video....just changed the oil and it worked to cut the light off👍🏾 Put a sticker in the windshield to see how far it goes before the light comes back on.... I'll post when I know. Also was having low oil pressure issues.....changed the sensor and things are good! Again, thanks for the video 👍🏾

Great tip. I am new owner of a '09 Trailblazer. Although a synthetic oil change was performed 4,000 mi ago, the "oil change light" came on and scared the wits out of me. Cheap Greek you are the greatest. Thank you. (oops I meant to say Cheap Geek)

Good video. I have a 07 trailblazer with 6cy. If it has been a while since a oil change, the owners manual says you have 600 miles to go to a new oil change. Just a bit of info. Hope it helps.

This will work. But be aware this resets your vehicle ECU and it will then relearn based on your vehicle operation. Usually won't cause a problem unless your throttle body is really dirty. Would recommend checking that before doing this reset.
