I would not be chill about that situation at all. There is zero reason to rear end anything in front of you unless you were not paying attention. Bikes aren’t designed to have 1-2 tonne vehicles smash into them from behind either So if that was me I’d get her insurance details and take my bike to the nearest garage to get a very good inspection to make sure nothing is bent or broken and then send the footage to her insurers for the entire bill of any replacement parts or work that needed to be done

I'm from Birmingham and am a MTB cyclist, I had to go through a mob similar to that and I took no chances, I ride with my helmet off as I ride on pavement most of the times, I grabbed my helmet and put it on in a very unusual way, I fully covered the back of my head and rode straight through the group. People were grabbing me, broke my torch, and I got pushed around, made it out though with a bit of shouting and screaming because I was pretty much blocked in

So what do you think was wrong? He indicated in plenty of time, pulled back in when passed the obstruction. I suppose he could have run into the back of the obstruction or pulled over and waited until the precious biker had passed or maybe had extendable suspension so he could have raised the body of his car and gone over the top. At 05:17, the driver did NOT hit the biker's elbow, or else we would have seen a reaction from it; for example, the arm which was struck would have jerked to the right in view of the camera. Watching closer, the arm was still in the same position, as both arms are stretched forward with little give at the elbow. The biker flat-out lied.
