I am a biker (ride a 1200 cc bike) , but 90% of what I see in these videos are tools riding way too fast, not defensively, and then raging at car drivers when they get in their way. Totally ignoring that if they were riding at appropriate speed and used their brakes, these incidents would not even happen. Many of these should be renamed as "stupid, crazy and angry bikers vs the world"

edhinor76 you are wrong when you sit on a bike you go slow but you see that youre going fast but in reality you are slow. when you see videos of bikes you think they are fast but they are slow

@@pluto_amv4059 , when I see an area that is limited at 50 km/h (30 mph) and someone doing 70-80 km/h (45-50 mph) yeah, they are going too fast. If there is traffic that can come from the sides, you should think they will come, and adjust your speed. 25 years of riding a bike tell me that it is on me to ride defensively and think that if something could go wrong, it will go wrong. I only speed when on the motorway and when far away from cars. Many of these riders go too fast for the conditions of the road and when they see someone about to merge into their lane they just rev their bikes, instead of braking or adjusting their speed to allow for that to happen. So yeah, they are behaving like tools and risking an accident. Once you have crashed and injured yourself, it doesn´t matter that much who had the right of way, you are the one lying on the floor bleeding, while they just have a scratch on their car.

The XCast I’ve had the same problem. Trust me, it pisses me off. At first I would ride beside them and yell and tell them to get off the phone but then they just ignore you and stay on the phone. Just lay on the horn as you pass. Not worth following them and trying to talk them out of using their phone. If they’re assholes enough to be doing it in the first place, then they’re not gonna stop because of you or me anyway.

Now for the clip around 2:25 obviously the women was in the wrong but as a biker you need to take extra care to make sure you are not driving in someone’s blind spot. All he had to do was speed up a little or slow down a little. It may inconvenience you a little but it is a hell of a lot safer.

the blind spot does not exist! The Magic is called, rear view Mirrors and Shoulder Checks and knowing your surroundings. people like that Never look in Their rearview Mirrors and dont know what the fuck is happening arround them you are supposed to look behind you every 10-15 seconds, by doing that she should have Noticed the Biker earlier and thought to herselfe "the Biker is Not behind me or beside me, so he must be somewhere i can't see him so easily". and a lot of people Think that shoulderchecking is like looking to your Left or right, which is totally wrong! You are supposed to look where your "blind spot" is at. the only vehicles with blindspots are semi Trucks and Buses.

@@brayvdb2191 In a car, a driver should have their mirrors adjusted correctly and do a "shoulder check" when changing lanes. It was part of the standard curriculum in driver's ed back when I took it. Blind spots really shouldn't exist on a passenger car.

If riders would stay in the middle of lanes when not overtaking or one splitting they'd be so much more visible and not potentially sit in the blind spot of a lot of drivers... especially those with mirrors set up poorly. Bit silly to tow the line for no reason

While you're right, the middle of the lane is where you will find all the nails and junk :( The proper way is to stay in the right of left half of the lane closer to the vehicle that could potentially change into your lane. That way you make sure you are visible in their side mirror, as opposed to being in the further half and guaranteeing they cant see you lol Center is the next best option though.
