Imagine if, every time there was an indiscretion on our roads regardless of vehicle type, drivers started to rev their engines, shout at other road users to 'pull over!' and argue at traffic lights or junctions etc. It would be chaos. Rightly or wrongly, bike riders should be riding defensively 24/7 and within the designated speed limit for the road. Always assume other vehicles haven't seen you. Of course, incidents that are caused by dangerous driving are exactly that i.e. dangerous. And when bikers are injured or worse at no fault of their own that is of course regrettable or in some cases tragic. However SO many of the clips uploaded are by riders not riding appropriately and then blaming other road users. Often, THEY are the ones at fault. Riding a bike does not give you a god given right to ride as you see fit, then complain/moan about other road users.

You pushed through a gap that wasn't really big enough, and either moved left because of the contact (which means you shouldn't have tried to get through) or moved left out of choice, too early, causing the contact. Either way, 100% your fault. You didn't stop "out of politeness", you stopped because you have to legally as there was contact. Anything else you want to keep trying to twist?

Where as a turn signal is a minor traffic infraction committing a more serious traffic infraction such as passing on the right that leads up to an actual wreck this would fall on the biker. And for those of you who dont know this. Any larger vehicle or something with a trailer/towing something. They're always gonna make wide slow turns so start being more patient and you wont eat as many pieces of teeth and metal.

Why do riders still rev their engines instead of laying on the horns? Even tho the engine/exhaust might be louder, cagers are more attuned to notice or react to a horn more so than an engine/exhaust. Horns will get their attention, because all vehicles have them & we're all sort of trained to notice it. BEEP means danger or anger, VROOM VROOM means dumbass or show-off! Know what I mean??

8:50 going way to fast for that intersection. yes SHE was at fault, but she never actually saw you. being very vulnerable as a motorcylist (especially silent electric) you ALWAYS need to be on guard, and on your toes. and if traffic is at a standstill, just pass it slowly, EXPECT someone to pull out of the traffic and give yourself room to react/brake. you went 50-60 possibly 70 kmh past that traffic... on paper its the cars fault, but as a motorcyclist, YOU could have prevented it.

First clip both parties are at fault. Call me crazy but I didnt see the truck signal any direction. But hauling a trailer he should be able to have adequate room to maneuver. Just like 18 wheelers biker jumped the gun to soon without being fully aware. So I'm glad he didnt chase down the truck for his own mistake as well

I agree, while I think the truck was at fault, I didn’t want to push the blame on the driver for something that was equally my wrong doing. There was indeed no signal to indicate his decision to turn, and in southern Illinois most drivers hardly ever use their blinkers so I made a poor decision.

eh the truck was a bad driver. No need for him to swing wide at all. That road was more than wide enough to make the turn. i wouldn't really blame the rider in this case. Truck made every indication they were planning to go left aside from using the magic devices that let other people know your actual intentions. rider was impatient is about his only fault.

Horns are also a risk and can cause problems as well. Its usually best not to do either of those things unless you actually think itll effect the outcome. For instance in the event they are merging into your lane on a highway then go for it. If their turning in front of you then no. Its all conditional.

Just as a general thing if you see a gap on the inside where a car with a trailer or lorry is moving out wide don’t ever go for the gap they have to do it so trailer doesn’t crush the cerb/ roundabout
