The guy on the Harley has every right to be upset, but it looked to me like he was going a lil fast. The mustang guy didn’t see him, didn’t know he hit him, but once he was aware he pulled over, took responsibility, and apologized. The guy on the Harley needs to calm down. Those kinds of reactions are what can get escalate the situation and make things worse. I have a pretty bad temper myself but I at least know how to control myself. yes there are many rules but they dont matter since law enforcement agencies are being defunded and severely understaffed. the roads will only become more dangerous.

@ stfu they don't hardly enforce those sorts of laws anyway. Traffic infractions & ticketing is where they make money, my bet is that's going to be a big focus as government funding decreases.
@LilGamingYes4 жыл бұрын
You're supposed to overtake from the left lane only, but that is not enforced much if at all. Switching lanes too many times will result in a ticket though, which promotes sitting in the left lane instead of moving back and forth (along with ignorance, laziness and thinking doing the speed limit is good enough and you can block everyone else).

I'll never get why the US, as well as other countries I see in these videos, dont adapt the the principle of the german autobahn that states that you can only overtake cars on the left. With vehicles whizzing past you on both sides you have to be so much more careful when changing lanes, it's baffling. Just keep on the rightmost lane whenever you can and only switch left if you are faster than the car in front of you. It just works.
@HLGJammer3 жыл бұрын
The left lane IS a passing lane only. Only some states have actually do something about it though

It's supposed to work like that here, but pretty much no one follows that rule. And cops don't enforce it, they'd rather give speeding tickets and create revenue for the jurisdiction.

2:07 “the front light on this thing is so bright...” maybe it’s *too* bright? Ever thought about that? When your bike has only 1 headlight and it’s super bright it actually makes it harder to see *you* behind the glare. So i might not be able to see if what i’m looking at is a motorcycle or a car and that can be an issue. I don’t know if you have just 1 headlight or if theyre split... for me personally its easier to see a split headlight about 1 ft apart for a motorcycle and be able to tell it’s a bike right away. The single headlight can look like someone in a car with only 1 working headlight from a good enough distance. Sometimes certain jeeps can look like bikes from far away cus their headlights are closer than other cars...

I don't know how many times I have seen videos of Motorcyclist sitting in the blind spot of cars and when they get cut off or almost hit they get mad. Personally I pass cars briskly and to the far side of the lane from the car realizing they have blind spots. If I cant pass I stay just behind the rear bumper until I can pass so even if they come over they cant hit me. Its called defensive driving, learn it on a motorcycle or else you WILL get hit and it wont mater whos fault it is. There is a risk when you are riding a motorcycle on busy roads. Oh and you are not traffic cops, I know it makes for these videos but some of you are ridiculous.
