While most of the lane splitting was fine, the guy around 9 mins was just flying through traffic way faster than he should have been. I think reinforced (non folding) mirrors with barbs might be in order. Hook one and get yanked off the bike.

9.00 thats not lane splitting...thats just stupid riding that will get you killed. Lane splitting or filtering is done through SLOW moving or STOPPED traffic at low speeds..its not riding at speed through free moving traffic. You are supposed to overtake safely using the full lane when the traffic is moving like that. Be careful you dont have the same protection as drivers.

He told me he was going to detroit downtown when at exit 6B some bikers was trying to get around him on a small 1 lane exit. His car is wide so they had to squeeze the wall. But they broke his mirror for that. That is all I know. Who knows if he was lying or what, but the fact that that fucker almost killed me for looking like a guy who broke his mirror says enough. You guys need to stop. So since you guys don't care about other riders rep and lives keep it up. But this mirror smashing is encouraging danger to the point where cagers don't like us so much.
