as one who rides both motorcycles and bicycles I can tell you that bicycle lanes and paths are usually poorly maintained and well overpopulated by pedestrians who get really butt hurt when you pass them at more than 2 miles an hour. an old man walking with his wife ripped me off of my Cannondale road bike for attempting to pass them

@@ChielK2506 in Europe, yes, bicycle lanes are well-maintained as well as the roads. Here in Wichita Kansas there are very few dedicated bike Lanes. Most of the time they're occupied by parked cars. And the ones that are not on the street marked as dedicated bike Lanes are used by both pedestrians and bikes and are usually less than 5 ft wide.

I’m a biker myself, and honestly, 75% of the confrontations on here are the bikers fault. We’re taught to look 5 seconds ahead. Why is that you think?!?! Not because “tin tops” or drivers are assholes, but because we’re on machines that respond and manoeuvre a lot quicker than the rest of the traffic. We pop up where drivers don’t expect us. If you don’t ride a bike, you won’t understand how it handles or how quick it is. Stop blaming drivers, and start being smarter riders!

As a motorcyclist I agree. These guys behave like spoiled children. They seem to go out of their way to get in a confrontation. Riding defensively is part of the deal. As a motorcyclist it is your duty to keep yourself safe. To confront someone in a 2-ton automobile is stupid at best. The consequences can be tragic. @@jahbay I could not agree more. it is the younger crowd. I believe it comes from three things. One, we all know millenials are spoiled little brats who think the world revolves around them. So they do not understand that somebody might not see them on their motorcycle or that people make honest mistakes. Two, I think most of these guys are way too scared to be riding a motorcycle. Their level of anxiety is on 10 the second they get on their bikes. So when somebody pulls out in front of them or even starts to enter their lane, they freak out and instantly release all the pent up anxiety. They just should not be riding. It is that simple. We aren't all cut out to ride motorcycles. Third, these are all people who are riding with a camera attached and actively filming. They WANT a confrontation. They will take any little thing and try and blow it up so that there is a confrontation. It's all about those clicks baby and also submitting and being on channels like this. Combine all three things and you get a bunch of A hole idiots who give the rest of us a bad name and get laws passed that make it harder for us to enjoy our motorcycles.

There's often a good reason cyclists don't use cycling lanes, you'll notice in this clip he has to cross a busy junction where its more dangerous crossing in the cycle lane than with the flow of traffic. Often especially in the UK they are poorly planned out and if you can hold a decent pace 20+mph often just plane dangerous, its also not a legal requirement you use them !

8:30 ? To any car drivers who have a go at cyclists for 'not' using the cycle lane, may I suggest you carefully look at these lanes ? They are full of debris from smashed bottles to hunks of wood to masses of rotting leaves and of course the loose grit which is everywhere but the major hazard is many of these lanes are far too narrow and vehicles are parked up in them.

so i don't know how it is in australia but in germany cyclist on road bikes are allowed to use the road. and if you look at the curb at 8:23 the bike lane is just not designed for road bikes with 35km/h. so why should the cyclist put himself in danger and not use the road? that argument is just plain stupid

"Slightly over the speed limit" does not mean you should prevent people from safely passing you. If they want to break a law, thats on them. But when you force cars to undertake you, the existence of that dangerous situation is on you. If you are being tailgated with an empty outside lane beside you, you should move over and let them pass.

badmojo420 if he’s doing the speed limit or over the speed limit, it’s irreverent because it’s going up to a light meaning it’s not an overtaking lane beyond 500 meters, there was no need in him undertaking, it would of been somewhat exceptable if he went into the left lane and stayed there

Cyclist in da thread 8:09 Because cyclists lanes often are rubbish with endless hopping on borders, made for speed less than 15kmh. My avg. speed on a bicycle is around 35-40kmh, at that speed bicycle lane becomes a pain in the ass. Literally. Guilty of course, but there is a reason.

Roudabouts were a fantastic design. The simple rule was to give to incoming traffic from the right, otherwise go. Yes, they can create lane queues for cars but you can filter with your wits about you, like any other scenario. Problem now is that there's too much traffic everywhere to stick to the rules, so everyone has to push in all the time. Hilarity will no doubt ensue. Cheers.

I'm not sure of what you point is. If i was in his shoes I would be editing the videos from the start to make the content unique. KZbin was doing nothing wrong in this case, since all he was doing was playing other peoples videos back to back. If you want to claim the content as yours you need to at least modify the content enough for it to be "your creation".

Siveon Farcloud well now let me tell you how wrong you are... I watch many channels that edit clips like this weather it be super cars or nascar wrecks or just normal stuff are all being affected by this issue. It does not matter how much they cut the clips or edit the video with the clips. If the channel doesn’t add more to the video then the clips the channel might as well do it all for free. Yeah Moto does deserve some money because he takes the time to go through the clips and then edit them for the video. Look at how many he has put out. You don’t think that doesn’t take time?? You go put out a video or two every week or so for a few years and let’s see exactly how you do.... oh and yes I looked you have a whole 0 videos on your channel... now have a good day and maybe learn what all KZbin has changed because almost every channel I watch has had some issues with the new rules. Oh and maybe just enjoy the 10 minute video next time or just don’t watch. I’m sure no one will miss your views.

@@tazfett7746 Someone is salty. Yes, KZbin is making it harder and they should. There are tons of low hanging fruit in this platform, that all they do is put copy-pasted videos, many of them without consent from the original creators. I'm sure that at some point he did had to put some effort to try to find videos, but now that he gained some following people just send him the videos for the few min of fame. Plus, if you ever made and edited videos - which I have for academic purposes (not for views), you would recognize how little effort was put into this channels videos (and many like it). There's no scenes to setup, nothing to film (thus not even need to do multiple takes) and no acting. Even after all that, the video editing is nothing but a bland fade from clip to clip with an intro and an outro with what sounds like zero volume balancing. You can probably go to 5er and pay someone a couple of beers for the quantity of "effort" in these compilation videos. So yeah, both you and MM can cry me a river, because all you get from me is laughter. Something is not right here... oh I forgot the ad hominem attack. But you know what, you sound miserable enough as is.

I see more comments like yours then ones actually discussing if it was the biker or driver at fault for videos or funny moments. It’s taking the fun out of the videos if you ask me and it’s because of toxic people like you who have to tell someone else how to run THEIR Channel. Get subscribers and make about 500 videos and get over 20K views a video then you can have some say. Till then shut your trap and maybe you’ll learn something from others about being human and respecting others. And yes I know you don’t care what I say but I won’t take offense because you didn’t listen to your parents I bet. Yeah attack my life and I attack back. Your the miserable one not me. If I don’t like a video or channel I just move on and hit the button to not see those again. It takes less than 5 seconds.
