My Dad would always pick up random lures from yard sales, and if we weren’t having any luck with the usual ones.. he’d say grab the ugliest one and give it a shot. 6 or so out of 10 times you’d hook up on something 😂

The Doob tubes work great in the south too! They have definitely become a go-to when the bite is tough! I like to rig them weedless and pop them up off the bottom hard and then let them naturally fall back down. That fall is deadly and they usually get smacked!

I caught a musky on corn one time .. I actually use a lot of saltwater lures for freshwater fish. Everyone uses the same exact thing so I gotta be different
