I did something similar but with mug cake. I put the ingredients in the coffee cup and put it in the microwave and forgot to add water. Next thing I knew, a there was a large cloud of smoke coming out of the microwave.

Don’t worry, Burdie. You’re not alone in your DS Game story. I have a story with this one kid from my elementary school who would ask me to bring in my DS every day. And eventually I did bring it in and I pulled it out and showed it to him while we were waiting for our parents to pick us up. And when I started playing the games I had and showing him some of the games I had, he kept pushing me to give it to him. And it was at that point, when my mom pulled up in the pickup lane and that everyone looked at me and raised their voice at me for having my DS in school, that I just made a run for my mom’s car. I think it’s safe to say that that kid was trying to finesse me out of my DS.

I remember one instance in my childhood where I was making Ramen noodles, and for some reason I thought there was water in the noodles when they were cooking in the microwave. And they started to literally catch on fire. There wasnt a whole lot of fire, mostly smoke. Once the fire was put out I hid the noodles underneath the sink for some reason. You are definitely not the only one who has screwed up with the microwave 🤣. I did not put water in with some ramen and the results were not great and it caused a big mess. I also filled our kitchen with smoke with just a bag of popcorn. When I was younger, during a sleepover, me and a friend were arguing about how long to cook the popcorn so we ended up cooking it for many minutes thinking that was the right amount of time. My family had to get rid of the microwave after that incident since we could never get the burn smell out afterwards. Also my father destroyed another microwave of ours since he put sausage biscuits in the microwave and instead of cooking them for 2 minutes he accidentally clicked two twice and did not realize. So the biscuits cooked for 22 minutes and that pretty much destroyed the microwave as a result.
