Out of all the foldable sawhorse videos that I've seen on KZbin, this one is the simplest (and I'm saying that in the BEST possible way). Thank you. I think even I can build this.

Genius! I wonder if this same horse could be done from 2x4s? I got eight spare 2x4s in the shed and would love to try... My cheap plastic saw horses are way too wobbly.

Where did you get the tool used to round over the edges? I really like the pull action of it.
@AlansWoodworking Жыл бұрын
Hi Mike. The tool is the Veritas Corner Tool. I bought mine in australia years ago, but I guess you could get them online these days. They're not cheap and they have limitations (can't use them against the grain) but they're a lot faster and convenient than using a router in a lot of cases. Have fun, Alan

Hey Alan!! Wondering if you have a rough estimate for how much these weigh? Looking to make some for my craft show table pop-ups and am being very concious about weight!
@AlansWoodworking Жыл бұрын
Hi Morgan. The sawhorse weighs 6 kg or 13.22 lbs. I used 90mm stock because that's what I had in the shop, but if weight is an issue you could probably use 70mm without sacrificing too much strength
@jocelynbeauregard44563 ай бұрын
What is the angle? Thanks…
@AlansWoodworking3 ай бұрын
Hi. The angle I wound up with was 40 degrees. It wasn't a deliberate choice, but depended on the length of the folding cross pieces. I adjusted those to get the height I wanted.

@AlansWoodworking7 ай бұрын
Sorry for the late reply. There are 4 horizontal sections each 75cm long, 4 upright pieces 88cm long and the folding cross brace is 2 pieces each 24cm long. The timber is 90mm by 20mm and the hinges are 90mm wide
