This week we tag along with a great father daughter team finding some huge fish! We also get to see some kids do some pheasant hunting many of which was their first time!

I've watched years of shows and I don't think there was ever a better segment than that sturgeon one with Denny and Betty. Great job guys.

Congrats on the Sturgeon Jenny ! That guy & his daughter is the kind of fishing partners we wish we all had. One of the best segments I have ever seen on this show.

Great job Betty , Dad you did good also. Congrats Jenny on your Sturgeon. I think #Magscustomrods should set Betty up with a Sturgeon Rod. Awesome job getting the youth out hunting. We need to keep our youth involved

I haven't seen MOOD for years! This morning, while waiting in my truck, it popped up on my KZbin feed. I'd forgotten how enjoyable it is! I immediately subscribed! It was nice to see the segment on the kids bird hunting. It's great to see them learning to enjoy the outdoors. On a side note, I notice one of the guides had a Tee shirt on from 2nd Chance Bird Dogs. Mike Mapes helped us out last year when we had to get rid of our English setter. He had bitten our granddaughter when she surprised him as he slept. We were distraught as we contemplated putting him down. My wife found Mike on FB. What a God send he is for people and especially dogs. He took our dog in, found a home for him, and gave us great advice on how to get over our loss. His advice..... Get another dog! He had another setter come in that needed a home. She was gunshy and wouldn't hunt. While I'm not gunshy, my hunting days are mostly over. He set us up with this wonderful dog. She's just what we/( I ) needed. If ANYONE reading this is looking for a dog, give one a 2nd Chance and see Mike at 2nd Chance. And if you read this, THANKS!!! We got a great dog!!

The safety NEVER NEVER NEVER comes off until the gun is in motion. That was horrible advice.

Don't think fishing for sturgeon should be allowed- a productive fish takes thirty years to replace. And all the dnr is doing is to further harass deer hunters on their own property. Stupid.
