Dude straight up said "let's get weird" and drops this masterpiece of an album along with an amazing anime. Classic Sturgill melody & howl meets ZZ Top grooves and retro Synthwave ambience. How many other musicians out there have the balls to experiment like this anymore? Sturgill & the band got my eternal respect.

@One01Zero5 жыл бұрын
1st- I never said it was a country album or that Simpson was locked in some kind of stylistic box. I was actually implying the opposite. 2nd- its a fact that he has been a country artist most of his career. While this album is more rock and roll than his usual, his country music influence is all over this album, particularly in his singing style.
