first off Hi! Ive watched your vids for a few yrs now and enjoy the chill relaxed nature off them and your approach to Sturgis in general. ( well...mostly chill :) A nice contrast to most Sturgis vids. Which I do watch some too though. We re not partiers anymore so we re pretty laidback and even stayed in a back yard in town this yr as opposed to the Chip like past yrs. Just got back from this yrs rally Sun eve. That's 16hrs + for us. Was a good yr I think. Weather was much better than yr last for sure. you don't stay at the chip I don't think do you? So you pay for the concerts every night you go? That must add up. We almost went to Kid Rock but decided it was too expensive. We like the look of the place you camp at. Seems nice and quiet. That's what we like now. would you mind sharing where that is? Anyway...thanks for the vids and for allowing comments as well as I've wanted to comment before but they were disabled take care man

Wow, thanks! For the Buffalo Chip, this year, I actually bought the early bird pass the very first day they were available. I was originally going to buy the extended rally pass but decided to get the early bird because it was only $25 more. The extended rally pass starts on Saturday, but since the Chip has been having their kickoff night on Friday, I decided to get the early bird just in case they bring in a band I want to see. Last year, they had ZZTOP. I would have liked to go see them but didn't want to spend another 100+ on top of the extended rally pass I already had. Paying the extra $25 for the early bird makes more sense than paying $100. I do stay at a different campground. I don't reveal it and haven't shown it much the last few years. I don't mind people approaching me on the street and other places, but I guess I'm kinda paranoid about people showing up and joining me at my campsite. I do tell people when I'm asked in person, though. I'll give you a small hint. Since you've been going for so many years, you will probably be able to guess where. Just don't answer here, though. It is a well-known party campground, and it does get louder than in my videos. It's just not as bad as the Chip lately. 😉 Unfortunately, I did have to wear ear plugs a few nights this year. I'm bummed about that. Hopefully, it won't get worse. Thanks again!

@@LetsGoTraveling. I thought I recognize those trees and that fence line but I didn’t think that you would stay there but I know where that is now I’m still surprised to stay there but that’s cool.

Haha just saw you twice in another KZbin video about Sturgis.

That's so cool. I've only seen a glimpse of me in one a couple of years ago.

I would rather be riding the roads than watching a concert
@LetsGoTraveling4 ай бұрын
Honestly, I prefer the riding, too. The Buffalo Chip is the only place I go to concerts all year, so it is part of my Sturgis experience.

Sorry for all of the camera battery problems. DId you try connecting directly to the bike battery with the harness I gave you when I met you downtown last year? Plugs into the bikes accessory port, located I believe under the right side cover, or maybe under the seat on your year bike. It converts the 12 volt power source to the proper USB voltage, then directly to the camera charging port so the batteries will stay carged all the time. Worked on my 1999 Ultra Classic for my iphone that won't hold a charge for a long ride. Just hook it up and put it in your back saddle bag, then wire out to the cams.

Thanks. I already have my Love Jugs and Ultracool oil cooler plugged into the accessory port. I'm not sure if I should add more to it. Thanks again!

@@LetsGoTraveling The cams shouldn't draw much current. But I understand your concern. Awesome videos! Thanks for being the eyes and ears of us who cannot attend this year.
