Apparently in re-bootcamp when a power is activated instead of playing the generic power theme it played in the originals, it plays an amped up version of the character's theme. I can only hope Sturm's re-bootcamp power theme is something like this :)

I will always remember my first encounter with his meteor strike playing this game as a kid. Truly terrifying, watching Andy’s forces get obliterated and swept up in his tide of units.. that last mission in AW1 was one of the best moments in my personal gaming history.

As this is EASILY my favorite track of the franchise, I must say, FANTASTIC good job nailing this down! Especially the opening bit! What I especially loved about the theme is that... well... you MAY not notice it at first, but it actually COMBINES elements from each of the other Black Hole COs into one BADASS theme. Of course, the only real reason I can think of that I noticed this was because I had started the franchise with Advance Wars 2, not the original, but hey, that's what we had at the time. Still, though...

Great as per usual. It almost feels like a cliche to say that your latest cover is a really good one. I'm still hoping for a cover of "The Destroyer" from Shovel Knight. I don't want to seem like I'm pestering, but I've wanted to hear a really good hard rock cover of that piece for ages now. I look forwards to the next cover! Advance Wars was one of my first strategy games I played and I still have my original GBA cartridge. I would love to continue hearing your remix versions of the CO's theme. How about Lightning Grimm, from Dual Strike, next time? Sturm was the mysterious warlord I always had difficult fighting in Story Mode. His CO Power was broken (launching giant meteors towards the enemies units, leaving them with 2 HP).
