It's not a bad option at all! Just depends on how long you stay away from power (including bad weather where you can't charge through solar) and how much energy the devices you want to hook up use! Another review dropping this afternoon, this time the opposite side of the spectrum (their biggest battery)!

The surg power feature is done by reducing the output voltage's, which is ok for induction loads like motors but not so good for electronic devices like computers etc.

Just wanting to know what XT60 plug is on the solar charging cable that connects to their panel? Is it a male plug that connects to theirs? I need to make up a cable to suit my portable panel that uses an Anderson sb50 plug, thanks.

This would be great for my shed. I could have the heater plugged in and turn it on before I go into the shed to do some work and charge my tools batteries ready as well. Also power some tools that need it with out running extensions from the house or get the shed powered. Would love one of these with a solar panel.

Might need to be a bit bigger if you’re thinking for a heater - although it can, heaters are usually 500watt or higher, so would only power it for 1-2 hours max. I guess enough to pre warm it at least!

@@StusReviewsUK ye I'd say good to pre warm, it's one of these mobile oil heaters that look like mini radiators. Once warm shiukd stay like that for a while so hopefully good for my shed. Than summertime lots of fans lol

@@neli5p so how much to run cable from the house to a shamed, wire it all up etc, you'd be looking around the same if not more I bet. Plus this can be used elsewhere if you go out for picnic for example.

Looking for some offering power for our boat .. F2000 was my preference as able to run Air fryer for a while.. do you think this is a next gen product and they will make a C2000?

Maybe, although the f2000 already looks like the newer spec with the WiFi and Bluetooth Smart Control, so I think they’ll perform a similar function, just the f2000 is bigger (size and capacity)!

At 100 % , I wonder how many miles it could add to an EV (using a granny charger obviously)

Only about 4 if it could… depends on the EV though. That’s based of something like a Tesla which does about 4 miles per KW… although the granny charger for EVs might be too high spec for this possibly? That said… wait till my next SOLIX episode 👀🚗

It's fine for a glorified phone charger, but you need to spend A LOT of money to get a unit capable of powering camping equipment like air fryers, heaters etc. Fine for mobile vans, etc, but not for everyday camping. The fact you also cant control individual sockets remotely negates any viable use for this feature imo.

It's expensive (absolutely), but comparatively its the cheapest this tech has been, so its nice to see the price coming down somewhat! Also if you think thats expensive... wait till the next battery review 😂 🥵
