Whenever John talks about being a writer for the tonight show he always says* WE" had to do this and that. I didn't know writing was a team effort or was he so bad at it that they just grouped him up with others that carried him and justified his paycheck. Its like when he talks about being a father and a parent he always says "I WAS". Its the little things I catch in his speech that bug me.

I’ve noticed that too. You know John didn’t write any jokes as he claims. He prob was the 5th wheel in a group effort. Prob never turned anything on time and his ideas were mediocre. His work ethic has always been “do the least, delegate the most , and leave early “

I met Cyndi Lauper in the summer of 1995 when she was doing live rehearsals at SIR studios in NYC. She was the coolest and I was getting free lunch after the band ate and she talked to me about music and stuff.

She was cute and I’m pretty sure she liked talking with me. She asked me what music I was into. At that time it was the Grateful Dead. She was impressed I was attending shows that could go for 8 hours.

No Captain Lou unfortunately. I did tell her that I did really like her music as a kid in the 80s and enjoyed her stint in the WWF. She was very modest and down to earth.
