Rogue Prince 😂😂😂 I totally agree, but don't you think Poor Conrad has enough damn Podcasts? Lmfao! Bruce, Tony, J.R., Arn, & Bischoff! And those are just his side jobs...he does the Save With Conrad, he collects Pro Wrestling Memorabilia, does the live shows (when the World isn't coming to an end), & Lord knows how many personal appearances, OH, & he also is now "officially" part of AEW Backstage! OH, "&" he has STARCAST!

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Their dynamic would be great. The guy with Corny now mostly agrees with Cornette. Conrad likes the Bucks and AEW plus he's one hell of a shit disturber when he wants to be. Now I'm going to be bothered until I hear them get together.

I think the worst part about Conrad is how much he talks during the podcast. Brian last definitely has a respect and understand who the star is. I will admit for certain fans there probably is a lot of interest in Conrad but for the rest of us who are either casual fans or perhaps actual workers corny and Bruce Prichard are far more interesting and would rather they dominate The Exchange. This message was recorded with voice text. My apologies

One of the worst booking decisions ever, it done nothing for anyone. Didn't elevate Brock and didn't elevate Roman when he beat Brock. The Streak was one of the few sacred things in the WWE and if it was going to be broken it should've been in Undertaker's last ever match putting over a younger talent. Bray Wyatt springs to mind. Total waste.

Probably because Meltzer is the only source of written history so it's all he can base his show off of. If I have the news right here in black and white, and the guy who can refute EVERYTHING I have to say is on the phone with me, either set the record straight or give me the truth. If you don't want to give me the truth, like Bruce and Eric have a tendency to do, then I'm gonna have to go with what was written and reported. It's not the sturdiest foundation to build a debate on but pro wrestling is a secretive industry, there's only so much to pull from that ISNT rumor and innuendo. If it's not Meltzer it's gonna be another reporter who either gets his info from Dave or another reporter who gets his info via the telephone game.

Bruce made another good point about New Japan and spot monkeys. And Conrad got all bent out of shape and took it personally. It's like Conrad can't grasp the fact that Meltzer's opinion as to what makes a 5 star match is a joke. And as good as the Taker and Shawn match was, it's overrated by some as the greatest match ever because of all the high spots. Meltzer doesn't care about stories, he only cares about spots. And spotfests dont make up for lack of story.

This was such a nice pivot. We understood with Bruce how crazy it is at WWE. Such a nice treat to plug the ad free shows.I hated how Brock Lesnar ended the streak of the Undertaker. I would have had Roman Reigns do it. It would create such instant heat. It was crazy that no agents know. I think if any knew. All hell would break loose. That fatal 4 way elimination was a good match. I think it was forgotten due to Shawn not allegedly wanting to job to Bret.

The Streak was never the entire career win/loss record of The Undertaker and I think that's where some people mix their feelings and attachment to it, because they treat it like it was. He technically lost his first WWE match by being disqualified from it so wins and losses were never his gimmick. Sure, the world would have been a just fine place to live if The Undertaker just never lost at WrestleMania but at what age and against whom would that have suspension of disbelief not worked anymore? Sure, a newer and younger star could have used "the rub" but any same newer and younger star would have never been able to take advantage of the rub. Taker would never have passed the "dark gimmick" torch to Bray Wyatt and he probably thought CM Punk didn't deserve it.

Do I like how the streak ended no. If they were going to do it, it should have been a young wrestler who had potential to become a franchise superstar like Hogan, Rock, Austin. That said the streak needed to end because it took away any drama in Undertakers matches at WM. You knew he was going to win every match. I like when my superheroes can be beaten and that makes the stakes much higher. Like Superman Undertaker became this indestructible guy at WM and it made his matches less interesting (at least at WM.)

Conrad is awful. Has the benefit of 20+ years of hindsight to say what should have happened here or there. Dude marries into the business and becomes a money mark for the guys who actually were the ones involved in the biggest companies in history. He's not a pleasing person to even listen to voice wise. What's even worse is he's not even the best host of these podcast shows. Brian last is way better than him as is the guy who is with Kevin Nash. The worst is when Conrad tries to do impressions like Bruce but they are awful. Some of Bruce's impressions are not good, but they are still hilarious because they are exaggerated whereas Conrad's are just terrible. Especially his Vince impression. He has terrible catchphrases too. The best thing that Conrad could do for these shows would be to remain behind the scenes to help finance and get someone who's actually good. People really want to hear from Bruce, bischoff, J.r. and etc so no matter who is hosting people will still listen but it would be so much better if there was actually somebody was good

Brock was the wrong choice.IT should have gone to a full timer. An Undertaker vs Cena match should have happened before wm 34. (I mean a mania match not their ppv match when he was heel rapper cena vs biker taker.) I still say the correct choice should have been bray wyatt at mania 31. Have Bray beat cena at 30 and then taker at 31 to create a new top star the fans actually give a crap about. Instead all they did was make lesnar special so he works 10 dates a year for 10 mil a year. I do not blame lesnar it is not his fault Vince has lost touch with the fans over the years. Before the streak at 30 lesnar was not really that hot of an act imo. The feud lesnar had with hhh imo sucked and was boring. Even now beating lesnar means nothing. IT did not help Rollins. I doubt it will help mcintyre (the ratings are at all time lows but I think a lot of that has to do with the god awful street profits who are the epitome of channel changers for me.

As much as I hate Lesnar v goldberg w/Austin. This is the one that caused me to never watch another live match. So I got to put it as my least favorite match. Not that I would watch but they could have got more out of the match and the strea. Put taker in a no dq or a last man standing match at the next Mania. As his opponent is dominating him about to finish it. Lesnar runs out followed by a incredulous Heyman and kicks the shit out of takers....opponent and leaves but being visibly admonished by Heyman. Then never explains why or even act like he did it. Nevertheless taker recovers and gets the win. Then next Mania he jumps takers opponent in the back.Then over time slowly reveal that Heymans brainwashing about the 1 being greater than the 21. Was too effective. Now Lesnar is obsessed with making sure 1 doesn't turn into 2. I would disagree with that about McMahon. I've always heard that it wasn't "mr McMahon" who came out during Foley and takers HIAC match. It was the actual Vince.

What I would've done if WWE wanted to make Brock look strong is have Brock just do ground and pound till the ref says get off Taker and Brock continues to do it ended the match in a DQ and Taker still has the streak but is on a stretcher after the match.

Entitled children who grew up post-Internet expect everything for free, they're incredibly entitled. They expect things like news sites to be free and free from ads, and use adblockers on them, and then wonder why journalism has gone down the shitter. News used to cost money. You had to actually pay for newspapers. But spoiled entitled kids never seem to understand this.

@@wolfcrewe7474 you must not be old enough to remember. In the US Ronald Reagan kinda killed TV journalism by allowing them to tell lies and not be sanctioned by the FCC anymore. But print journalism survived a bit longer. Nowadays it's pretty dead. Good journalism still exists but it doesn't get the clicks and views like clickbait does. And people would rather believe lies that agrees with their opinion than truth that doesn't. That's why Fox News and the Daily Mail and so on exist and are so damn successful. The Daily Mail is the most popular English-language news website on earth. And it's always a bit amusing but also depressing to us Brits when Americans take the daily mail so seriously

The undertakers one of the all-time great’s ever in wrestling history there’s no doubt about that but then in the street was the worst idea ever really know to be his career at least half of it was based around the wrestlemania win streak and to end it to me takes a little piece away from his legacy
@duffman18
@duffman18 4 жыл бұрын
Taker always wanted to go out on his back. He's incredibly respectful of that tradition in the business. He was ALWAYS gonna lose at wrestlemania eventually. It's just the wrong guy was chosen to end it. They could have given that win to a young up and comer. It would have made someone, whoever they choose. And he retired so perfectly after losing to Reigns. Then he came back. So any new retirement probably won't be as good as that first one. But he'll still lose, whoever it's against, I'm sure of that

duffman18 If that was the case then they shouldn’t have let the streak get that big and have him beat triple H Shawn Michaels CM punk Randy Orton and a whole list of others for that long period of time if the idea was to break the streak you don’t let the streak get that big

I personally believe that the only time that the streak should have ended when Taker wrestles his final match and retires while going out on his back. Brock Lesnar was a believable choice to hand him his first ever Wrestlemania loss but what left a sour taste in my mouth was the buildup to the event was very paint by numbers, it didn't feel like anything was in serious jeopardy and it was just business as usual. The match itself was very boring and slow especially as Taker and Brock have had great matches in the past . As a hardcore Taker fan, i have to be truly honest, he looked very old, gaunt, worn out and out of shape, the concussion he got really hurt his overall in ring performance. The streak ending would have been more acceptable if it was a classic match with lots of near falls but it instead it was very uncomfortable to watch everytime Brock hit a move on Taker. The streak should have been used to elevate a future talent, someone like Bray Wyatt who could have got a lot out of it, Brock didn't need it as he was already a made man. Six years later and i still consider it to be one of the worst decisions of all time.

Bruce's Paul Heyman: There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call...The Titan Zone. Vince: Bruce. BRUCE! get in here. What's that smell? Smells like...Doooo-kieeee. I've shit myself again. Get in here and change my diaper. Howard Finkel: The following ADULT DIAPER change...IS scheduled...for one fall. It has a 15 MINUTE...time limit. Bruce: I'm not taking this diaper off until you promise not to piss on me this time. Vince: I don't know what you're complaining about. It was working piss, not shoot piss. Bruce: Yeah, right. Where'd you get working piss? Vince: Working piss R' us. Where else? Bruce: I might believe you if you didn't yell "What a maneuver" the second the stream hit me in the face. Vince: God damnit, pal. Change me!!! Bruce's Randy Savage: Stinkin STINKIN stinkin. Somebody in here's been poopin POOPIN poopin. Ooh, yeah. Dig it! Bruce's Roddy Piper: Ha! Baby make boom-boom, don't ya know. Bruce's Johnny Ace: Uh, gee Vince. You sure do eat a lot of corn. Uh, I don't know if I've ever seen that much corn in one diaper. Uh, I'm jealous. I wish I could poop that much corn. Vince: Wipe better this time. Bruce's Dusty: Hold on a minute while I be gettin a little pow-dah, baby. Puttin a little pow-dah down there, if you will. Vince: Well? Bruce: Well, what? Vince: Is it bigger than Batista's? Bruce: .................. Vince: BRUCE! GET YOUR FINGER OUT OF THERE! Bruce's Paul Bearer: Ooooh, yes. I just diddled your butthole, Vince. Bruce's Stu Hart: err-ah, gee, Vince err-ah. Your butthol's some kind of a whooore or somethin. Bruce's Terry Funk: Vince McMahon, your butthole's a whore! Vince: Do these depends make my ass look big? Bruce's Jim Cornette: FUCK no, mother fucker. Vince: Binky. Bruce: What? Vince: BINKY!!! Bruce: No! If my wife catches you suckling on one of my nipples again, she's gonna leave me. Vince: BINKY! BINKY! BINKY! BINKY! BINKY! Bruce: OKAY! Okay. Stop kicking. Vince: Mmmmm. Binky. You can put your finger back in now if you want. Bruce: It's a living. Bruce's Jerry Jarrett: Huuuuuh? Oh, the preceding announcement was, you know, paid for by the Ew World Order. Ya get it? Ew as in gross. Huuuuuuuh? RIP, Fink. For a guy we really didn't know that well, you were loved by all.
