Yeah I thought about that as well. He started talking about skinny dudes that battle additional weight their whole life (dad body/skinny fat) and those who never gain a pound. But the whole recommendations for skinny dudes where for those with a stable weight, not for those who easily gain bodyfat.

My main problem is that I was a big guy that lost weight and now I may be the more athletic size. I still have the mindset of my larger size. I have to find clothes that fit and not go by the size per se.

I have massive calves and jeans are the bane of my existence. I know of only two brand/cuts of jeans the levi 514s and i have a single pair of polo jeans that have survived the test of time xD it severely limits my options so if the comments to this can sound off on suggestions I'm all ears.

It may be a bit more pricey, but Hockerty or Proper Cloth offer custom jeans (I think starting at around $100), so you can enter your calf measurements and it should fit you perfectly.

I unfortunately, have narrow shoulders, so I have to wear slim fit pants with a narrow leg. Baggy pants make my upper body look even more narrow. 😒
