The tie look is so easy and so cool. Men's ties are every where, Target, Macys, Walmart, Dillard's, etc. Adding pearls or chain necklaces just takes it to the next level. Just have fun with it.

I woke up in the middle of the night and thought of your channel and Banana Republic. Looked at that navy suit and decided to hold off until I go to a city with a BR so I can figure out the sizing for me. I’m tall with broad shoulders and long arms. However, I finally bought not one but 4 BR cotton shirts and a pair of pants. Will keep my eye on two suits for markdowns again. Thanks!

I know what you mean. I really prefer getting a feel for how the items will fit and each design runs a bit different as far as fit. Having the physical store available helps a lot. I almost always need the pants in a tall which they don’t carry in the store, so I try on the regular for size and just order the longer length online.

I remember this dress. It wasn't as long as I would have preferred. It's nice but since I have the stripe a-line longer length dress, I didn't feel the need to purchase this particular one. It would be nice with lots of pearls or gold jewelry or even a flower pin. You could dress it up or down with flat sandals or loafers and put on strappy sandals or pumps.

The Carla Rockmore and Kurt Geiger combo was absolutely stunning. I know the trend these days is understated and muted to emulate "quiet luxury" but it's a bit boring. That outfit was classy and vibrant. The late Queen herself apparently used to say drab colours were for funerals and "One is not dead yet". She loved a splash of colour and red lipstick.
