Hey Tank have you tried using the Andis taper or fade blade on the Alpha's? If so how is its performance, is it better sticking with the original blade? I'm trying to get some feedback. I heard from other KZbin video's that it was loud however did not talk about the fading process.

I literally just recorded my review with it lol. And yes I put the Andis blade. I love it Honestly. It’s a little loud but doesn’t bother me. My masters are louder lol

@@TankBeChoppin Cool thanks! I was thinking of switching out the blade with the Andis Masters fade blade. I like Masters with the taper blade. I had to put back the taper and hoping the fade blade on the Alpha's are not like the Masters where they just take way too much hair. Haha

Did you have any issues with the stock blade snagging on the scalp? It snagged my head a couple of times when I was fading

I ended up getting a pair. Kinda loud compared to the jrl fresh 2020 clipper I have and Wahl 1919. Since it's a modded bracket and there was trouble screwing it in on the alpha. I swapped brackets from the 1919 to the alpha and the alpha bracket to the 1919. Now have a andis blade the 1919 and standard Wahl bracket on the alpha. Still the same sound with the alpha no matter what you do. But overall a good buy. Wish it was stronger then the magic clip to be honest. Certain texture it will boggle and snag going through. Dope video.

im debating whether to purchase the ergo vs the style craft clipper? which one is better? or if you had to compare each clipper (ergo & Style Craft alpha) to another clipper (magic clip, wahl seniors, masters, etc) which ones would it be? Also, in terms of fading/detailing and getting the bald line out, which one is better? Also, if you could, what are your thouights on the gamma absolute hitter trimmer? they look very similar to the detailers? are they better than the babyliss fx trimmers or the andis t outliner and if you could compare them to another trimmer whoich none would it be thx deeply in advance brother!

The ergo is kind of like the corded masters but with a clicky lever. Actually one of the best for actual fading. The alpha are more of a magic clip type clipper. I actually have a review on the absolute hitters. They are similar to the Wahl detailers. I wouldn’t say better than the babyliss fx but it may be a pro that they are smaller

I currently have the ergos. They are awesome for fades but terrible if you need to debulk. You can always clipper over comb to debulk. The other thing I dislike about the ergos is they're too smooth to hold. I find them slipping when I cut. But if you grab a grip to put around them they would be just fine. I like the body style of these better though.

The protege doesn't come with the stand or the color lids and has a taper blade. The alpha comes with the fusion blade and a stretch bracket.
