The reason youtube recommends old vidoes is becuase after they show it to one person, they comment 'the youtube algorithm is drunk' then youtube sees that as positive engagement so it pushes the video to more and more people who also comment. So eventually, thousands of people are being recommended old videos. Hope this helped 😊

It's like an avalanche: 1 person views the video, making it a tiny bit more popular. For some reason, KZbin thinks this demonstrates the video is interesting, pushing it more people, proving it's own hypothesis. But after it, there is no more attraction to the video

I've used these types of subtitles a ton. You basically have control over everything, and you can practically do whatever you want. The first time I saw this used was in the octagon collab's Japanese subtitles, and that's where I started looking into it seriously. Theoretically, someone could create a plugin for any editing software to bake motion into these subtitles, like I have to perfectly sync up song lyrics.

WARNING!!! If you have certain setting on it wont work. On Desktop, click the gear (settings) icon in the bottom right, click Subtitles/CC (Closed Captions) and on the top right, click options . Here you can click on the font family, size, opacity and color of the Captions. Click on an option, and on the top right of each setting is video override . Now if there is a check mark next to the 'off" option, click the "on" option. What this does is that it allows the creator to choose how the captions look. If it's off, it will stay as you put it on.
