Hey Kami! I'm still at the beginning of the video but just wanted to point out that the butter is more of a sealant. The ingredients are just oils and butters. Unless they changed the formula. Last time I bought it I realized the ingredients were mainly oils. No water. It's not a cream. It's a butter. Just check the ingredients. But I'm glad it worked out fine in the end 🙂. Love these series!

I watched many videos for the mane choice. One girl just melted it down in the microwave and applied it like oil. works wonders with color hair because it's a great sealant!

Try iii Sisters of Nature Natural Curling Gelo, that's what I use & It works well enough. Are u applying the two products together? because I'm confused.

I can't believe that you didn't realize that the 'dressing' wasn't a leave-in. Their 3n1 leave-in/detangler/co-wash is bomb as a leave-in. Maybe try again with the leave-in and gel.

you crazy, the shine is unbelievable, the curls are poppin from every angle. it might not be as huge as you like it, but that just means you'll get days out of it. if you got mixed feelings, give it an A- or B+

Hi Kami, I have the gel and it really clumps my curls, I think we might have the same type of curl pattern except my hair is shorter, but I still feel like my hair needs moisture, but I don't like that heavy feeling. I use the hydrating shampoo and then a mane choice leave-in conditioners, then the gel but my hair feels tacky with the gel in it so I was thinking of maybe using this product after the gel but all that white residue had me shook! Can you make any other recommendations that go well with this gel or would I be better off trying this product? Thank you!

I recently tried these two products together and had the EXACT SAME experience and reaction as you!!! I got a 6 day wash n go, HOWEVER, when I washed it out.....my hair felt HORRIBLE!!!!! It LOOKED amazing, curls were still poppin like ca-razy, but it FELT as almost like straw and took days to return to its normal texture!!! Did you have that experience when you washed it out??

This is a great series!!☺ Your hair turned out really nice. I cringed at the butter cause I've never experienced that type of texture with this product. Also the way you used it took me by surprise. This product you definitely must allow to emulsify before applying it. When you PACKED it on like a styling cream I was like "Oh no!". But then I thought you might be on to something. I found this gel gave me a great wash-n-go for like 2 days before my hair felt so incredibly dried out that I had to get it out of my hair. So I'm wondering if applying the butter as heavily as you did under this gel will help with the dryness. A lot of reviews on this gel were similar to my experience; great looking results but very dry feeling hair after a day or so. Definitely come back and let us know how this wash-n-go wears and feels over the days/week.

I'm going to get you. I told you a little goes a long way. lol Try it again but this time allow the butter to emulsify. I love your results and I've used it and loved mine. It was definitely fluffy with great definition. Your hair looks great. When I tried it I used the daily moisturizer/gel/butter. I then tried it on another occasion moisturizer/gel and then scrunching the butter in..But again I always allow it to emulsify. i'm going to check my Ig and see if there is a pic and tag you.

That's a butter, not a cream. If you read the ingredients, you would see that there is no water in it. It's basically like Shea Butter. It's the 'O' in the LOC/LCO method.

Your curls definitely pop. I would give it an A on appearance alone. However, only you know how it feels. I suggest you give it another try. Then you can make a final decision on how this product works for you.

you probably received a bad batch. over ordered the mane choice butter at least two times and I received it very smooth..like a butter. never griddy. I'm surprised that you received your product with a griddy Oatmeal consistency...
