@iceberri3 жыл бұрын
You can try to remove with either liquid dishwashing soap or nail remover liquid. For me, I prefer liquid dishwashing soap. You should clean your stencil right after finish your project. If not place your stencil in the warm water container and clean it later on; it will not dry off.
@RD9_Designs Жыл бұрын
It doesn't hurt the stencils to let substances to dry on them. But it can make them harder to clean. It's silk screens that you should put straight into warm water after use, not stencils. And I would definitely NOT use nail polish remover on plastic! It will dissolve!

FYI, baking powder and baking soda are two completely different things. In baking, if you substitute baking powder for baking soda then you have to use three times as much. In cornstarch is a cheap alternative to talcum powder. If you want something really hard use spackling. After my mom died, I found an old box of powdered spackling and mix it with white glue and some plaster of Paris... He gets really hard.

@StylHarmony4 жыл бұрын
The best to make sure it doesn't go yellow is to add white acrylic paint to the mixture. Acrylic paint doesn't tarnish (if it's a good brand). And always avoid direct light it's better. I'm sure you'll' be fine
@josephpedulla78314 жыл бұрын
The best additive is CALCIUM CARBONATE POWDER. You can get it from the internet or even buy calcium carbonate tablets in the over-the-counter vitamin section of the pharmacy and then grind them up in the blender into a fine powder. Or you can use a mortar and pestle. A company called "NOW" sells it already pulverized in plastic bottles, and you can get them from many places: GNC, Walmart, etc. Amazon definitely has this product. Mix CALCIUM CARBONATE with Elmer's, and watch how thick that becomes. You'll know it's ready when it's very difficult to move around. You want this stuff the consistency of peanut butter. And the great thing is that you can make it as thick and stiff as you want. It will depend on how much powder you use to your amount of glue. This stuff, especially when mixed with a heavy-body acrylic like Liquitex, will leave brush marks that will make your work look like a Van Gogh. The great thing about calcium carbonate is that it is inert. It contains nothing that will cause it to "grow" or "change." Try it. I promise you will like it. The baby powder works well, too, but it puffs up into the air at the slightest touch, and if it gets into your lungs you may have a problem. The carbonate powder does not do that when moved. See for yourself.
