Styling a TWA | Updated Finger Shingling Routine

Hey loves! Since doing Big Chop #2 a few months ago, I've been rocking my finger shingles! Just wanted to drop in and share my updated routine with you all since my hair is a little longer this time around. In this video, you'll see me defining my natural curls using just my fingers, water, and Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel.

Please let us know your night time/morning routine for keeping this for a week. I don't mind spending this much time on my hair if it lasts a week. Very well done btw.

Aww thanks so much for your kind words! It takes me abt an hour to do my hair... I try to sleep with a bonnet on, but that doesn't happen every night. However, my curls stay in place. I sometimes spritz water and olive oil, but for the most part I just get up and go. That's why I love this style so much; it's just so convenient. Investing an hour or so for a week of care-free hair is more than worth it to me! Thanks for watching (=

Can I tell you that this hair styling method saved me? I was beyond frustrated with my hair, so much so that I went out and bought a texturizer!!! Needless to say its still in my bathroom unopened. My hair's got definition and more importantly, it LASTS!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Lol girrrrrl I sleep PRETTY! I try to sleep on my forearm instead of head to pillow and that usually works out well for me. If I do happen to smush a few curls, I use a little water and my fingers to pick them out.

Ok so I usually don't comment on videos but I had to on this vid. I recently just did the big chop and been finding it so hard to shingle or wash and goes or whatever. I came across so many vids but still couldn't do so I've been rockin a fro which I still love. I came across this vid and you just broke it down so well. Hi love this, did you use gel to make the curls or a cream. I was thinking it was gel which is why you said the curls would be rock hard it the hair became dry.ove the color of the also.did you use bleach and tone or tint. Thanks
