Did you keep getting extra stitches at the end of the row? I want to make this so bad. I love this pattern but had to take it apart 3 times. I keep getting more and more stitches at the end of each row.

I also wanted to add that what I like most about your video's, they are geared more toward the experienced hooker, and we don't have to watch you spend 20 minutes showing how to do a slip knot every time. LOL. There are vids for that already :) Love your channel!!

chronicstitcher McYarn :Good morning, I am hoping you can tell me why I might be gaining 2 stitches after every round, I had exact count and all my rows line up, it's only at the end of each row that I'm gaining those 2 stitches...your help would be greatly appreciated!
@chronicstitcher79337 жыл бұрын
Sounds like maybe you are not doing the decrease in one of the valleys? Remember, you are adding stitches at the point, and they must be decreased at the valley. without seeing your work, its hard to say exactly. My advice is to count each side as you do them, I always have to count doing ripples, or my sides will look like a tulip. Ripples in the round can be even trickier, and I've been hooking for 40 years and can mess up a ripple. :) rip back and try counting as you go. you should have the same amount of stitches between each peak and valley.

Hi Annoo. I love this bag and started making it but I think I need to go up a hook size. I crochet fairly tight and I think mine is turning out much smaller than yours from what I can tell. Can you tell me how many inches the bottom of your bag is all the way across (edge to edge) so I can have an idea if I need to go up a hook size or not? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi I was wondering if I could use red heart super saver yarn to make this bag.
@chronicstitcher79338 жыл бұрын
You can use any yarn you wish. Just make sure you use the right sized hook, for the yarn you choose. And remember, bigger hook/bigger yarn means bigger project, and vice/versa.

Hello, after round 3, which rows should we be alternating??? Because at the end of round 3 instead of ending with 3 double crochet (like in round 2) I end up with 5 double crochets? And from the video it looks like you end every round with DC3TOG... Please answer...

If I use a 5.5 hook will it come out a lot bigger ?
@beesandyarn8 жыл бұрын
Bobbie Gallardo yup, and a smaller hook will produce a smaller bag - you may want to use thicker yarn so it doesn't end up with gaping holes, but again it will impact the finished size of the bag. Hope that helps!

Hi Annoo, I love your videos and learned a lot from you, but if I made this bag I would use raffia. It's so perfect for bags and not many people even know it exists, and it's a shame. I have no business interest here, I don't sell raffia, but I do try to promote using it for bags/hats/belts because I just love it and I want to share this little hobby of mine. I'd be honored if you visit my FB group called Crochet.Raffia. Addiction
