So Anoo, do you have a tutorial for the larger sizes starting at rnd 17? I find the written directions for the increase very confusing. Can't make sense of how the * to * directions that indicate skippiing a chain three space make sense with the direction that seems to indicate I should put all of the increase into one chain three space. I'm trying to be as literal as possible with the pattern. Your tutorial is great and easy to follow for the small size. Most of us aren't that small sadly. LOL I've put time and materials into making the center pieces, which was a lot of fun but now I'm stuck and frustrated. I'm going to sleep on this and see if it makes more sense in the a.m. but I doubt it. Sigh. If you can help clarify--I'd appreciate it.

Hi Annoo. Please help. I have just done the round of the elongated loop and I have 156 stitches!!! Do I need to take them all back and start again. Obviously Ive gone into too many stitches and didn't count the 4 stitches per V correctly! Im gutted. A regular size Broomstick (or anything similar in size but fairly long?). is what people used to use for this. I guess it would work, however it won’t be “round” until you are done and joining the first stitch. What do you think?

Could you please give me the gauge for this top? I'm in Thailand and purchased the cotton yarn here. The yarn has no label. I'm having trouble finding the correct yarn size. I tried the yarn size used to crochet doilies and thought it was too fine. The cotton yarn l'm now using looks like it is the same as yours. However, the flower seems to be a little heavy.

You can use a wooden cooking spoon, it works well too;-) you just have to be able to wrap your loop around and hold it until it is secured ;-)))
