Unfortunately, if things don't correct very soon, the end of our republic is near. Our nation is making it's desent into totalitarianism. The first two amendments of the bill of rights are in jeopardy. Without those, the remainder are useless. Wake up folks, your nation has been taken over by lunatics.

Yes. Madame Blue is the Statue of Liberty and this song is about how the greatness of America being in decline. Sadly this song didn't really fit or touch us when it came out, but it fits perfectly for today. Another song that creeps me out and seems to be prophetic is The Cult of Personality. That Nobel Prize and the lies, and how it says, I exploit you, still you love me, is very disturbing. Look up those lyrics and see how it describes Obama.

You aren't much into facts are you. The song was released in 1975. How could De Young invision that a black man might become president in the environment of that time. Oh, I forgot, some gray haired old fart in the sky planted a prophecy in Dennis and he wrote this to warn us...Dumb ass...The song, as stated by De Young himself, is about the change occuring in the American people...Do your homework...

@@hillbillyknownothing5413 A wise Dutch man once gave me some good advise: "Never take a loan or for anything that is not going to make you money." Can't take advantage of him. It is the philosophies of communism that did destroy the USA. In a true free market, nobody could take advantage of people for very long, because others will compete with who ever is making a lot of money and charge less to be in business. We now live under communism, where there are no beginners allowed, where the most gross example of usury are huge state fines for minor infractions. No competition there.

The closing track of Styx’s 1975 album Equinox. Written by vocalist/keyboardist Dennis DeYoung, “Suite Madame Blue” is a song about America, and in fact was released a year before the US’s Bicentennial (200th anniversary) celebration of the year they gained their independence. However, contrary to popular belief, “Suite Madame Blue” is not so much a celebration of America but rather an honest assessment of everything that America stands for, both good and bad, and how Dennis believes there is so much left for America to do before it can truly change for the better.
@EarthSurferUSA4 жыл бұрын
So what was it that founded the USA? What did it stand for? 1st of all, it was nothing bad, so you really don't know. Not many people do. let me explain it to you. The USA was founded on the philosophies that man has individual liberty, free from force, because the mind of a human being can "reason" for them self. That was liberty. From that, free men created the free market, trading dollars instead of blood. Making friends instead of enemies. It is those 2 principles that communism has destroyed in the USA, installing a communistic education system where you learned the USA was founded "bad". It was even those philosophies of individual liberty that freed the Black slaves in 1863, and many Black were very happy that finally a nation was based on the human individual, they left the plantation, (some stayed), and named their own families "Washington", "Franklin", and "Jefferson". I never met a Black man named "Lincoln". The only way we can change for the better, is to get back to those exact founding philosophies that allowed man to be free and great in the first place. Since we do not understand that,---it will not happen.
