I can't say good job Gaijin because there are 2 problems with the armament of the Su-27SM: The R-77 cannot be used at a distance greater than 20 km. In some cases, even 18 km. The Kh-29TD cannot lock onto a target at a distance greater than 6 to 8 kilometers, even though it can be launched at a distance of up to 30 km. The Su-27SM radar does not have a moving radar around the target it is tracking. In conclusion, I can say that the Su-27SM only provides FOX-3 missiles, which are ineffective, and Kh-29TDs, which require you to enter the range of any anti-aircraft system to be used. In other words, we have to grind 420,000 points for equipment that is ineffective with the same old radar.

@@Donkeymaster9000 there are not always teammates around you. Sometimes, you get strafed by a plane, setting you on fire twice and then getting shot down. So you used your extinguisher twice.... or an enemy seeing only your engine, shooting it, and hoping to make you burn to death... but gets shot by a teammate. And again, you used your extinguishers and can't replace them...

The Su27SM, fitted with the N001VEP in warthunder, can do much more than it can in game. "N001VEP (RLPK-27VEP) Fitted to Su-30MK2 and the upgraded Su-27SMx. New processor Baguet series 55-04.02 make it being able to concurrently track 10 targets while engaging up to four air targets or two ground targets. Detection range against fighter aircraft of 150 km and detection range against bomber extended to 300 km."

yes! we need much bigger ground maps its bs to fight cqc in small maps with modern mbts... these tanks are made to destroy enemies at 3km range and not to fight enemies 20m away... War Thunder says they are realistic but what is realistic in fighting tanks at 10-100m distance? in a realistic situation tanks would almost never get so close to the enemy I hope Gaijin will give us bigger open ground maps with hills and forests I really want to snipe enemies and not having to camp them behind corners...

You guys suppose to add SM3 with 77-1 at this patch. Currently 77 is worset among all Fox 3s and even nearly impossible to kill cold 5~6km. This missile combimation with sux radar is not acceptable other than using 29SMT due to bit better radar but people hear wants to play new 27 not 29...

SM3 with 77-1 is not over powered compare to others. They already have good radar and 120 plus dortor durby is very flexible and highly potions among Fox 3s and MiCA is best within mid rage fights

Can you please fix the issue with the south spawn on the big Ardennes map? Southern spawn gets sniped within the 1st 20 seconds of the game. You can't go left, right or back... there is no safe route and no hard cover... the north spawn get hills to flank or use as vantage points. It's horrible and very unfair

Would be the best, but the stock grind is horrible, so painful. Everyone has fox 3-s and i can’t ever reach the nearest enemy base to bomb it or anything, shooting down anyone with the r73 is nearly impossible because of the huge maps. I know the other side with my gripen c, and that is fun, easy job with the aim120s. But the stock planes are useless….

Su-27SM ingame avionics and radar are buggy as hell. You have target picked for lock, you try to lock it, it lock on 60% something else.. Now only MiG-29SMT is rival in BVR against rest of nations due it's awesome radar and avionics.
