Arielle crabs honestly were not that strong in the stands for her to dig in her book. Ashlynn was the most polished crab. Im sure had it not taken them so long to get into the style she wouldve been able to give more. She had field girls they slayed the field. Still a good season tho

Ari did exactly what she was supposed to do, with the team. Two vets and the rest craps 🤔🤔 She set them up to be great. Ari is top model fasho.. Beautiful young lady

I was def one of the fans who was looking for the Danielle style in the other captains. It’s like she just gave us something so new and different. It really escalated the team to be a force to reckon with. So when that high of the Danielle era wasn’t there, I was a tad sad BUT I totally agree that you have to see the team as individual seasons because they change it up every season. Ari is THAT girl though and has a swag about her that’s so captivating. And those field shows are sooooooo amazing

@@DestinyXL28 well, that's the thing for me...all these convos about what the HJB and Dolls should've done are incomplete without knowing for sure what Camryn, herself, actually wanted. For all we know, the organization did wanna capitalize on her being there, but after going through high school as such a public figure (on top of being a captain at the time), she might have wanted to be in the cut and just dance without too much visibility.

The only issue, if this is actually an issue, too many crabs. [Crabs didn’t execute a lot of the counts Arielle threw]. She’s a smart captain too; she focus on those counts that she knew her team could do with ease. Arielle deserves her applaud.

I know I’m late to this comment but it very much was an issue, they cut almost all of Jada’s crabs except 2 of them and nobody from 19 tried out to be on the team this year anyways, so that means most likely if nobody from 19 comes back then we are going to have to pick between the two of Jada’s crabs for captain next season

For me it wasn’t that the fields or stands were boring… I felt like I was watching girls attempting to be dolls instead of actually being dolls (if that makes sense) like i haven’t connected with this squad yet to be excited or captivated. I think by next season ,if all the girls return we will see a different reasoned squad…and for that reason i wasn’t to hard on the dolls this season

I think back to '15, where in the middle of the first game KP switched Mel and Alyx for Mel to be in the middle so she could see the catch-ons better. Maybe they had Chania and Haley in the front row because they couldn't see the catch-ons as well in the second row, and then once they got more comfortable they switched them back.

Hearing that there were folks saying that the Doll fieldshows were "boring" last season is why I know not to take a lot of the stan opinions seriously. Folks just be talking and running on their biases. I say this with zero shade intended...folks cannot be calling 2017 a legendary year, but then talking down on the field shows from 2021. Great Southern dolls season 2021 review. Arielle captain 2021 really had the entire team looking like a one team on field shows. Su really ateeee them fields they looked like Dallas cowboy professional dancers just with a HBCU dance style. Gotta give Arielle and dancing dolls their flowers 💐 💐💐 on fields super professional, crisp, technique on point, turns, and flips was on point. Agree, about the videographer part they need more ppl although think SU is really strict on certain things. Cam 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼did her thing as tail like others say SU tries to stick to tradition which could be a good thing at times.

I agree but disagree to a certain extent with being stuck in the 17 Era and wanting something new each game. Personally, I thought she could've utilized her book a bit more. The counts were too repetitive. I don't want to bring Jordan in this but she was really one of the only few dolls to really utilize her book and bring a variety of counts. I love Airielle and she did a great job, I just would've hoped to see a variety of counts from their book.

I didn't like that stingette comment but in all, I agree with what yall were saying. But outside of field shows the dolls were boring this year in stands and they really were washed out by other teams this year. They had some of the best field shows this year but other than that nobody was checking for them for anything else. Airelle (i don't know if it spelled it right) was serving but the team wasn't backing her up all the time and Camryn was trying to make up for the void. I like the dolls but even last year's team was more entertaining in the stands and they only had 1 or 2 games

That’s what I felt the dolls were missing because yes they had the best field shows but that only counts for maybe 2-5 minutes of the whole game.

Me honestly feel like they did what they needed to do. Arielle worked with her crabs as best she could. Over all Arielle was very romantic, vintage, and captivating. Her crabs wasn’t all that strong but improved. What ppl have to realize is that the dolls lines are filled with a lot of crabs when a class has done all their rips and they always come back out swinging the next season bc they are now vets and it’s filled with vets. They just have to get seasoned. BUT HONESTLY YALL MIGHT RASSEL WITH ME BUT …THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST LET DANNI BABY JADA JUST FINISH OUT THE WHOLE SEASON. THE WAY THEY DID AWAY WITH HER AND HER WHOLE CRAB CLASS THAT WAS SEASONED LIKE VETS WAS STUPID AND JADA AND HER COUNT SELECTION WAS A FORCE TO BE RECKON WITH FROM THE PITS OF HELL. Don’t get me wrong they have qualities alike as 15’ but Aries Kids definitely are not Kayla’s Babies. The Swag 15 had was different and they faced a lot their freshman year as dancers on the team, with the team selection and even leadership and still did what needed to be done and had multiple legendary moments. But I will say I’m proud of how far Aries 21’ girls have come but I do understand how others can see the lack of accountability that is held sometimes between teams as far as critiques an opinions but it’s to each is own and I just hope next year some right decisions are made. (Whatever that looks like)

I couldn’t agreed more with your comment! Although 15’ was know for they “shaky” start of their crab year, we can’t deny that it was only a short time before the swag of each crabs start to show. Plus they all became individual forces for the team in their own. The technique, the attitude, the precision was different then the Aries kids so that’s why we can’t really compare the two. But like you say, i’m sure that the 21’ babies are only going to get better and better from now on & i can’t wait to see what they got to offer next.

Due to KP marvelous leadership everyone expect so much from this team. However, this team has been going down hill since then because they try to mimic KP and Dani so much.
