The New Band needs to see shows like this because in the early 90's we never lacked crowd noise and crowd appreciation.Just listen to the crowd the tape doesnt lie and oh by the way did it with 128 on the field 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿Back when we had Energy for days

@Micah the Nerd Saxophonist I remember my first bayou classic was in 1975. The band was ridiculously entertaining and that crowd went berserk. Never seen anything like that performance or the crazy crowd. Fond memories 🔥

They can bring every show they have done in the past, it still wouldn't be performed like the '80s and 90's the kids nowadays cant plays and they lack discipline they cry about everything, and its hard to compete with social media until I start seeing them bald heads again in the SWAC these shows will forever be basic, it use to be a privilege to play now these kids think they are needed the kids are soft and the directors are lazy.

I wish they would do halftime shows like this again. Todays bands put more effort into stand battles I was told because the younger generation prefer that. Well I'm ole skool and I want my fieldshows back. Btw I must say that the dolls did up they're game 100 because they dance to the death these days.

Didn’t have the internet then so if you wanted to see those bands you had to catch a game....now ppl just wait for an upload to KZbin.....I still go to games and most of the ppl there don’t even be engaged or be into it....the 80’s and the 90’s and early 2000’s was the last of this....ppl cared and supported now they could care less
@nasaint29824 жыл бұрын
KZbin and all the other stuff on the smart phone kills the hype we had back in the days. There’s still nothing like a live show. People are in awe when they do, it’s also the fact that they most likely saw the show already in KZbin. We could’ve done about 4 shows for the year and mix them up. Now, bands would have to do more to get hype from the crowed. Awesome job SU! FAMU M100, Fall 96

@@nasaint2982 I'll never forget my 9th grade year when my friend invited me to go to my first MAJOR D1 HBCU football game in Atlanta between Southern and Tennessee State. Southern's band killed it at halftime and TSU killed it in the stands. I sat in the section beside TSU's band and it was like a nonstop party. That was the most exciting event I had ever been to until that time. I went back several years later and it felt like much of the life had ended. Somewhat dull. 😩

Mike Harris these kids don’t have the same drive and passion too. I saw a band member on his cell phone during a game. Really? Brah, are you sure TSU “killed it” in the stands or are you just being nice? LOL
