Tanpa disadari, Perguruan Tinggi Teologi diselenggarakan demi pendidikan itu sendiri. Jika hal ini terjadi, maka tujuan Perguruan Tinggi Teologi pasti meleset, karena tidak ada perjumpaan dengan visi-misi Tuhan untuk menyelamatkan dunia. Penyalahgunaan kegiatan pelayanan untuk kebesaran sinode, lembaga institusi yang dipandang unggul, dan gelar menjadi sebuah prestise inilah siklus setan. Sesungguhnya Tujuan Pendidikan Teologi yang sebenarnya adalah mengubah manusia dari kodrat dosa menjadi kodrat Ilahi, kembali kerancangan Allah yang semula, mempersiapkan manusia untuk menjadi layak masuk kerajaan Allah kekal. Rahasia untuk menyelamatkan jiwa bukan hanya sekedar pendidikan Teologi tetapi menjadi biji gandum yang jatuh ketanah dan mati, artinya mati dari kesombongan, manusia lama dan keinginan daging. Pekerjaan Tuhan menantikan kita, mari kita terus membenahi manusia batiniah agar kita efektif bagi pelayanan Tuhan.
