Whats worse, 54000 with 3 crits at 5 damage, or 40000k with 5 crits at 5 damage? personally I’d say the latter since its impossible to survive unless you playing Lozenge magus Zero version who is a starter that after boosting returns as a Heal, since in Zero your g3 are your triggers where as 3 crits at 5 damage is possible assuming you haven’t drawn 2 heals already

You know what I discovered whilst re-watching the old seasons again. In the old seasons it wasn't always the main characters that fought others but it was cool to see episodes with unique and different fights between people that we wouldn't normally see. Now it's seems that we see new characters fight but it's only against try 3 members not anyone out side of the 3. I love all seasons and I'm not giving hate, I'm just saying that I want those random fights back so we can see how people like Taiyo (haven't spelt that right sorry) vs Ibuki match up (obviously we know who would win) but it would make such a huge difference. You know just a fresh change from the 3 clans that see the most play and are starting to get boring.

The difference between Kai and Chrono double critting is that Kai didn't need the double crit to win, shion was at 5 any other 2 triggers would of done fine.Especially, since Shion didn't heal. Chrono on the other hand flat out won because of the double crit vs Daigo and Ibuki.

Seriously Kai brought back aichi from psych quails that aichi almost lost himself to. Also he is a great circuit champion as well as a vf high school champion too! Plus he returned aichi from when he was locked away by the seals made by the quatre knights and be broke aichi fee of the power of the reverse too!!!

Funny thing is though, if Shion had used Fragment for Dusty instead of Kaiser on its re-stand, then Kai would've had to use Deathscythe to intercept, meaning he would've had a much weaker line going into his turn. Shion messed up his final turn and proceeded to be punished for it. And its good to see Kai using Narukami and NOT losing with it for once. Next up is Ibuki showing off the new shiny Messiah's we've all been using for a solid month now and losing to Plot Armour Shindou... AGAIN

+David Gowland Can't wait for Ibuki's turn, but yeah Kai also misplayed. He should've guarded Shion's Fragment attack no matter what, and let the Vanguard hit him. That way he can have 1 good column for next turn :)

yes! firstly that Cardfight Online invert advertisement is just plain cute. Secondly, People can finally shut up about the ruling with Crownholder. Oh yea and this also applies to the Bigbang Slash Buster/dragon and pretty soon Koukon for the Knuckle evo. I see that they are trying to cut to the chase with the mid-late game because that is pretty much where the fun begins. Seeing progress on the anime Bushiroad. Keep it up!

I think that shouldve been Shion's game. Kai guarded altmile stride with his whole hand so he mustve topdecked a stride enabler or a g3 and he already had one in his damage zone.

Honestly looking back at this, Shion should have attack Dusty Plasma or Deathscythe with Knight of Fragment, and then attack vanguard with Techgal wiht extra crit, which coulda taken out intercept and reduced Kai's counterblast. But, it still wouldn't have changed the outcome since Kai had three 10000k shield and another intercept. Edit: actually Shion could have survived since Deathscythe was out of the picture with no card in hand and no 54000k attack, whatever, bad play on his part.

Honestly it's nice to see the old characters winning and not have the new characters just luck sack their way to a victory but if they were to do this, they could have done it right. Quite a few misplays in this episode. The biggest one being Shions Altimile stride turn where he got a stand and seemed to give the power to Fragment instead of Techgal.This in itself was already wrong as what he should have done was give the power to Techgal and just stand Fragment because Kai was at 4 damage and the attack that actually needed to get through was Techgals with the crit. Also, even with him misplaying and giving Fragment the power boost, it would have been the right move to attack Kai's intercept instead of dealing 1 more damage with Fragment because it wouldn't have presented him with a win and in the circumstances that Kai got a damage trigger on his 5th check, would have made it easier to guard. If Shion had played it correctly then he would have stood Fragment but given the power to Techgal, then attack one of Kai's intercepts with Fragment leaving Kai with 30k shield in the 3 10k shields in his hand and only a 5k intercept left against Techgals 47k and 2 crit with the extra 5000 that should have been given to Techgal from the stand trigger rather then Fragment. I really do wish they would consult players that have a deeper analysis of the game. If they wanted certain players to win, they should do it right without any misplays. They always end up doing this.

The way the fights are done isn't right though. It's not even about making mistakes. The way it works with the plot doesn't make any real sense either. Multiple times during the plot, characters say they want to get better but still do the same misplays that they always end yup doing. Honestly, I don't even think it's the characters, hell I think the animators don't have the full grasp of how deeper analysis goes into this game. They could easily just consult someone and fix the matches so that Kai still wins, but makes it so Shion loses while playing properly.(his whole I'm getting better thing is basically just him shouting louder)

Note, I stressed that this happens multiple times throughout the anime to people like Ren,Kai, and Leon. Allllll of which were supposed to be a)-ultra good b)-unbeatable or c)-a legendary player

+Brandon Yan Shion did gave all power effects to Techgal. There's no way he can reach 42k without doing that. Kai won fair and square here. And even if Shion attacked his other intercept, Kai still survives.
