I believe the mind fogged one before the start of Season 1 is Akina. Suo didn't really desire anything from the start, and his memory being foggy about previous events could be due to trauma. Could be Hikari and that is why she was obsessed with stopping Akina to the point of GOING BACK IN TIME. However, it seemed she still had the same level of worry after their Cardfight, so it could just be genuine. The other contestants got eliminated a bit too early, and it would make sense that it is Akina. Firstly, he was the only one not to lose a single card fight last season. Secondly, even when threatened with death he chased after his ideal. Thirdly, did anyone notice how when he was asked by Hikari what he would wish for, he still said he would wish for HIKARI to get better/ be well. It is a bit strange as he already made current Hikari well due to his first wish and it is not like it was going to be reversed. Also, the only time he considers anything for himself is when the person he was helping literally tells him not to, and even then, he still is hesitant. To me, Akina was being irrational with his decisions in season 1. He was so focussed on getting Hikari better that he risked his life to save her. And he didn't even present an argument as to why the fate of him dying would not happen this time. If i was him, i would have argued to Future Hikari that since her future self came to the past, it would make the timeline deviate from her one since her being here was not supposed to happen, so now there is a chance Akina would win, which he did thanks to the card that SHE gave him. Akina is most likely the mind fogged one and i believe that everyone there is blind to how extreme his personality is due to knowing him well. The only contestant that did not know him that well is Masanori, so it makes sense that in a specific episode *I forgot which* he mocks the ideal of self scarifice. *Important note: It would also explain his off the wall strategies as a beginner that risk everything to win. Also ignores Hikari during most of Fated Clash to focus on goal*

If they take this path with his character, I would find it interesting as it would be an interesting twist on characters that are willing to sacrifice themselves to save someone else. Aichi and Chrono are like that, but in real life, it can be praised or is seen as irrational behaviour, which is why Future Hikari makes sense. We get to see the troubles of the survivor after a character like that dies, and Future Hikari juxtaposes Akina's mind fogged irrationality with rationality.

This is why Akina will lose and be released from mind fog, which will fulfil the conditions for a 3 - 3 draw, allowing more cardfights to take place, in which most likely Nao/ Mikoto/ Taizo might give up on their chance to take part in the additional matches to let Akina face Hikari one more time, and this time, with a wish of his own.

Also, present Hikari's wish might be for her brother to be more selfish and not worry about her, but her wish will be fulfilled without needing the divine power since Akina might be able to rematch her and win. This will break her mind fog and Akina might get the chance to make another wish or at least understand the value of himself to her. Also, Taizo is the one likely to drop out since he is nice and already said he wants to achieve his dream by himself, which was the original reason he did not attend the fated clash in the future Hikari timeline.

Thoughts on this ep: 1. Yuna is basically megumi if she didn't meet blackout and urara who happens to be an idol simp (it is always lonely at the top) 2. Yuna wants to be mi-tan?! 3. I thought it was mikoto was panicking because yuna discovered her vanguard online account but its the opposite 4. Yuna is in complete denial when mi-tan and bunny berry are the same person. 5. Yuna's so adorable, and i kinda feel bad for her. I hope mikoto introduces her to megumi and become friends. 6. Mikoto deserves that W, and the amount of maturity and character development she has is amazing , and being like a mentor to yuna because they're similar. (this is mirei and urara all over again) Now.... Onto business 7. Jinki and masanori conclude that planet cray and earth were connected 10 years ago. Masanori helping behind the scenes means how bad this situation is. 8. Kuon is being more sus by the minute, could he know something we don't. And he's self aware of the mental pollution. Could he have his removed after his fight with suo? 9. There might be another reason why kuon is infinity. We know he wants to go to cray. But he is the opposite of suo, if suo lost his feelings does that mean kuon can't forget everything (like he gained photographic memory at one point?) 10. Suo knows gab is onto something my guess is that either suo akina, or hikari have the highest chances of being sybilt. 11. Is this a hint of a role swap. Fated being controlled, destined saving them (?) 12. Hikari is only being cold to akina, but to kuon and mikoto she ain't(?), does she know what we don't again is she going to drop another bombshell again. 13. It seems that the destined ones titles are based on their desires (we already know that ofc) but it seems that some just have a future they don't want (just like yuna), we dont know about senka and hikari (hikari's case is vague but clear) Anyway, lets see how bad a combination misaki w/kamui's brain will be (senka) next week

Honestly, Mikoto's fight was the one i had no idea where it would go but I'm glad it ended the way it did. She truly has improved since her first showing, and the plot is really thickening now in a good way. I like how this fight is basically just Bermuda Triangle VS Lyrical Monasterio due to the theme of both avatars. Spoilers! I definitely hit the nail on the coffin for this one, I knew the moment Yuna said she wants to be like Mikoto that I knew the direction this episode was going but I still appreciate the lesson nonetheless. I also just like how Yuna was just fawning over Mikoto throughout the entire fight heck the entire episode even, also it's just a complete coincidence that both Yuna and Hikari actually fought their oshi (also minor nitpick but I did wish Yuna and Hikari interacted with each other since both are huge fans of Mikoto but oh well.) As for the Destined one of Supremacy, Lisciafael her Divine skill is definitely good as offense and defense thanks to the +1 drive as well as a permanent 5k and +1 crit is definitely threatening especially on a persona ride turn and an extra boost to protect yourself, honestly I thought her ability was gonna be like removing rear guards to make her the center of focus, I got that idea based on how Yuna expresses herself in the fight, also Krysrain now has an option to be able to make a 5th attacker too. Also at the end where Kuon knows about Hikari and then panning the camera to Akina, Suo and Nao is very odd, Akina and Suo I understand but Nao, it's odd, or is it? Remember during DivineZ S1 where Akina beats Nao in the Fated Clash and Nao says that someone told her the same thing Akina told her during that fight, what if that person was Kuon, Senka is out of the question considering her attitude honestly, can't wait for that to be revealed. Next is the second to the last fights Nao VS Senka, and it can either go two ways, Nao wins and finally settles the dispute between her and Senka or She losses but is unfazed and enjoys the fight between the two of them where Senka finally understands Nao's feelings. Honestly my bet as of right now is Nao winning and Akina losing.

This episode was sooo sick! Yuna adorable 🥹. Yuna backstory was interesting but also really sad! Trying to reach the top but no knowing what for. She started getting crush by the weight of it and I’ll be she found mi tan as escape! They nail the parasocial aspect off. And sybilt influence clearly have an effect. Nothing wrong with wanting to aspire to be like someone but becoming them is where things get derange real fast. CURSE YOU SYBILT! But cool to see Mikito be her mentor in her sense. And help her learn to be her self They both want the same thing but choose different paths. But it really nice the she was guiding her fan and new friend. And as taizo said she really become dependable as she embrace who she was. Well also being this ever changing fun sprit. I could almost see both taizo wisdom and akina fun joyful nature and nao silliness in her! Eve with the little foreshadowing from s1 ep 4, Mikoto's character is still an almost blank page. She was never seen on idol activities for all the "no matter the hardships" lecture. And that line form Hikari at the last minute is not enough to made up for the zero reference about Mikoto's supossed "best online friend" that s1 ep 4 talked about. She is like Taizo in the "very little scenes to work with" department. BUT Mikoto didn't even take advantage of all her season 1 narratives/scenes. Whereas Taizo had also unused plot threads but those where mainly about side plots (like her cameo in Will Dress season 3).

I can’t imagine how ridiculous the title is but all seriousness aside, I loved the episode and the cardfight overall was very solid and entertaining and was extremely glad that Mikoto got a win but I will say that I already love Yuna as a character because she’s just hilarious, if not even crazier than Mikoto is. 🔥✨ And while the Divine Skill isn’t perfect by any means since it can be countered and needs more support for it, its decent enough if you want a offensive and Yuna’s rideline is both 🔥 and cute. 🥰 🤭🤣 There must of been times where Yuna was dealt a pretty bad and given how Nao is next, it’s unfortunate that she might lose and the ending of the episode was short but very good!!! #DivineZ

I'm gonna guess this before the episode comes out. Back in will+Dress Season 3 Episode 1, after Gui's win, we saw the image, Earth was being covered by 'red' mist, in which Griphogila and all Masque units had. Maybe Sybilt somehow affected Gui since back then as we saw Shingi flashback in will+Dress Season 3 Episode 12, when Shingi died and Gui somehow had glowing red eyes which is the same as Destined One users. So that's why when Gui changed place with Jinki in Divinez Season 2 Episode 4, Sybilt can't harm him because he already affected Gui once.

And I think Hikari beating Akina will finally hammer the point home of him being to selfless, I think it would be a good thing to knock him down a bit and cause him to realize the problem with his personality, because I think him winning the fates clash against Suo and avoiding the future has kinda clouded his judgement when it comes to the dangers he put himself in for the sake of others

His selflessness and lack of a wish for himself is the thing he is questioning and what Hikari is ragging him over. And unless he resolves that in the upcoming fight, he will likely lose. If Nao wins, Akina can afford to lose anyways, pick himself up and then fight the likely tiebreaker match we're getting.

@@izzyshaath1671 I don't know how to answer that tbh bec if we look at it carefully the only time cray and earth were connected were during the final match between TRY3 vs Gyze so if we were to say that Dress is connected to OG-G timeline why weren't the OG-G mechanics present in the Dress timeline since Strides are the manifestation of the future and is the strongest mechanic of the game. And there were no mentions of it in the books or even articles mentioning Cray as a real planet separated to our Earth what truly happened those 3000 years that change and so is in our Earth what changed.
