For those confused about whether framing falls under LLC or MAC. I tried looking this up online and through AI models and the information received is slightly ambiguous. I have for now, concluded that, LLC Layer does NOT deal with FRAMING. MAC Layer performs DATA ENCAPSULATION and also performs adding HEADER and FOOTER.

It means that the NIC (network interface card) will put the frame that is created by MAC sublayer on the cable(media). This cable will transmit the frame to the hub or switch that is attached to the rest of the network.
