"SM giving japanese back then" WELL WELL it literally was. the founder (aka criminal lee sooman) was building his entertainment company bcs he was inspired with japanese idol and singers, thus you can see all his artists back then are giving japanese style-music and fashion wise. it's just fair to say that kpop wouldn't exist if it weren't for jpop 😂

Junsu (whose voice you really like) was named the #1 idol back then. He was a true ace and is still thriving while doing solo stuff (mostly OSTs and dance songs haha) and musicals. I'd recommend watching his videos from the Death Note musical (inspired by the anime).

I got into kpop and tvxq in 2010 and started stanning them as a group of 5 in the middle of their break up lmao. What a time. I still feel nostalgic for the old stuff. Purple Line was the first song I heard and it was instant love, but I fell in love with Yunho when I saw the Mirotic mv lololol. Suckered punched, havent been the same since. I've kept up a little with Jaejoong since, and still think he has one of the most beautiful voices ever. I didn't keep up with Junsu as much, but I know he's done a lot of musicals. You'd probably like his song and mv for Tarantalegra, which was a solo project he did after the split.

Ive been in kpop for years and have seen his face floating around for some time now! Not on tv shows or media but twitter,tumblr, etc. So I recognized him! If you like rock then you should definitely check out Jaejoong’s solo mv. Mine, Just Another Girl, Love You More, Breaking Dawn, Glamorous Sky. I highly recommend his WWW album, it’s a masterpiece of a rock album. All his albums are great and yes he has an album coming out soon. If you watch his youtube channel, Jaefriends, he is collaborating with Moonbyul, Hyuna, Sooyoung and I think Tabloo for that album.

Thanks for the reaction, I loved it!! ❤ I would really recommend their live performances, like everyone else has said the ones at Tokyo Dome (their last concert as a 5) were divine. Their Japanese discography was on another level! Three live songs to not miss out on, as they are the most famous ones: “Taxi”, “Bolero” and “Love in the Ice”, all from Tokyo Dome ❤ And for other concerts in Japan I would suggest: “My destiny”, “Loving you”, “Begin” and “Doushite” (A Nation live) All iconic ones! You won’t be disappointed, Junsu (and Jaejoong) sounds amazing in all of those!

Thank you for reacting to TBXQ, especially OT5! They lived up to their name, the rising gods of the east… There was no one like them! All five of them were lead singers, and were originally marketed as a dance/a cappella group, and had some beautiful a cappella songs! If you want to check out a few, whatever they say, a cappella, and always there, a cappella are amazing! They debuted with Hug the day after Christmas in 2003, so this is their 20 year anniversary… Which is why there is a sample of a carol of the bells in the song rebel, since they debuted at Christmas time…Jaejoong is releasing his 20th anniversary album this month, and is collaborating with a number of K-pop artist on it, and he and Junsu are giving a 20th anniversary concert in November… Regarding the five of them, their live stuff, especially at Tokyo Dome, is really good, Love in the Ice, and bolero are to standouts…

the guy you really liked with the purple tie was xia junsu. you should check out his solo stuff if you like his voice. he even has a killing voice. if you want to have your mind blown you should also check out the live version of tonight. they sound just like the recorded version if not better. also back then they didn’t make music targeting the western market, so that’s why you would get some awkward sounding english in songs like that one line in purple line lol

I became a Cassie when Purple Line came out. Yunho is my bias, but he wasn't at first 😅 I saw him in the mv, and especially during the rap part and him doing the choreo during the rap, I was like, "Euwwwwwwww who's this guy I don't like himmmm" 😭😂😂 and then when I watched their older live performances and saw his charisma, fierceness and passion on stage, I fell for him lol 🤪😍 Purple Line in Nissan Stadium is a must watch! @@macipiink seriously though! In a talk show TVX5 all admitted that Yunho has the most different RL personality compared to his stage persona. He was described as probably the most naive and child-like. And if you’ve watched enough shows with him as guest, you can tell that other celebs/guests dote on him, and SuJu members like to make fun of him too fr. It’s honestly the cutest thing. Through the years he tended to hide that cute personality to maintain the bro charismatic persona, but gradually as they got older and it was just him and Changmin, he eventually openly admits that Changmin is more like a hyung to him than he is to Changmin hahah
