Tribulation opening for Opeth was my introduction to the band. They put on a heck of a show

As I commented in one of their videos, you gotta admire a band that keeps reinventing itself. These guys are extremely talented and have one of the most solid discographies of any extreme metal bands.

This album is like what you said in the last minutes of the video: a logical continuation from Children Of The Night

Hey mate, also I was just thinking today that you’ve not done a vinyl update for a while. It would be great to get one before the end of the year ❤🤘🏿

Honestly I haven't been buying a lot of vinyl lately lmao, getting expensive and there's other stuff my wife and I would rather spend money on right now

I am loving this new Tribulation album! I was a huge fan of their last album and this is definitely a little more Gothic Rock than their previous albums but it’s still Awesome nonetheless 👍
Great review mate. Nice T shirt too. Def Leppard was my gateway band back in the mid 80s. Pyromania! More Bolt Thrower these days😂. Love Tribulation, complex evolution, if you have the talent... why not?
@themetalmeltdownofficial18 күн бұрын
Why not both lmao, love me classic Def Leppard and Bolt Thrower. And agreed: if you have the ability and desire to expand and evolve and try new things, then there's really no reason not to. Go for it, you only live once.

I’ve been a fan of Tribulation since Down Under was dropped. I love style their gothic black metal. Since the Formulas of Death, they’ve taken the harsh elements of black metal and combined it with catchy goth metal choruses and melodies. I liked Where the Gloom Becomes Sound but this new album I feel is slightly better.

yeeee saw em years ago with Watain and In Solitude and then another time with Cannibal Corpse and Behemoth. Was hoping to see them on tour with Opeth but the Toronto date was on Canadian Thanksgiving.

Can confirm. Saw them open up for Deafheaven years ago at The Opera House in Toronto. Will never forget that hanging candelabra on their mic stand; was soooooo cool to witness in retrospect!

Deafheaven and Tribulation??? What a fantastic combo.

I can also confirm. I saw them open for opeth a few days ago, and they were both amazing!

Unfortunately the only time I saw them live (supporting Ghost) the sound was so awful I could barely even distinguish which songs they were playing. It was so bad I felt like the live sound engineer was either completely incompetent or deliberately sabotaging Tribulation's performance.

I can't help it... sounds like gothic metal Depeche Mode sometimes..

I can kinda hear that, especially when synths are more present in the forefront of the sound and in groovier moments.

Tribulation *NEEDED* to switch things up after that last album didn't end up doing anything for me. I really enjoyed this new one!
