Sweet, sour, and crunchy tofu (Dubu gangjeong)
Ingredients:
tofu
rice cake (optional)
Sauce:
2 Tbsp ketchup
1 Tbsp red pepper paste
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp rice syrup (or maple/agave syrup)
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1~2 Tbsp water(if sauce is too thick)
Topping: nuts, sesame, and spring onions (optional)
I used unrefined raw sugar.
Directions
1. Cut tofu into bite-sized pieces.
2. Drain and season with salt and pepper.
3. Coat the tofu with starch.
4. Fry it in oil.
5. Make sauce.
6. Mix fried tofu and sauce well and enjoy it.
Make sweet, sour, and crunchy tofu!
Crunchy tofu, chewy rice cakes, and sweet sauce.
It tastes really good!
